If she was getting help from the school they would have a diagnosis or at the very least, symptoms to name. It’s never “I struggled with math but not art” or “I struggled with all subjects” or “I had to take tests separately from my class” like it’s never anything. It’s always just “I have a learning disability.” Like what does that mean, what did you do, what were your accommodations??? Schools can only help so much. Not taking her to get treatment outside of school is neglect. But who’s surprised.

I’m sorry but self diagnosis is dangerous, I understand sometimes the wait time for appointments and all can be difficult but it’s still not okay, she needs to get an official diagnosis but tophias mom can’t be making it official without proper help. Say tophia does have a learning disability to further accept that statement you need a proper diagnosis in order for it to be stated on your file.

Maybe that's part of the (many) reasons why she's failing in life. Did'nt bother to her diagnosed and get the proper help she needed in her school years. I know she uses it as an excuse, mainly in situations where she's being bluntly racist, the corn issues, being called out with proof, etc etc. She's perfectly capable of doing her makeup, shopping online, play switch games, being racist.... but when it comes to accountability she throws in "I have a learning disability i can't catch on fast". Like in that live a couple months ago where she was trying to show her screen and everyone was telling her to take it off, it took her a minute to take it off and she thru in "I have a learning disability I can't understand." She has something, no doubt.
My dyslexic ass got diagnosed later in my school years. Makes things a little difficult (reading and writing wise) but doesn't mean you pretend you're totally brain dead when you need to be held accountable.
