I’m sorry if I sound like an ableist
Nothing grinds my gears more than tophia when she uses her “learning disability “ as an excuse. Especially when she’s the queen of spreading misinformation but preaches about how google is free. And then when someone calls her out on it she just simply says “sorry I have a learning disability “ no you are just blatantly ignorant and refuse to educate yourself properly. ATP I want to see documents on what disability she has. She’s giving me Eric Cartman vibes when he entered the special Olympics to win the money.

I was disgusted to find out Tophia never got diagnosed. Like, clearly something is going on and she’s got some type of disability but it’s very fucked up that all this time she never bothered to get an official diagnosis. That just proves how fucking lazy that family is. It shows how her parents are such bums. The school tells them they think she’s got a learning disability and the cow uses that as an excuse for the rest of her life and never gets properly diagnosed by a professional. Always taking the lazy way out. Wouldn’t u want to know exactly what your diagnosis is?

If she was in special education in schools she wouldn’t have needed a diagnosis. All she would have needed were qualifying scores between an IQ test and an academic achievement test. She likely would have been categorized as “specific learning disability”

where in my comment did i deny that she has something? she might, but her mother never took her to be properly diagnosed and has let tophia live her life without the help she clearly needs. she wants to use her “disability” as an excuse for literally anything yet she doesn’t even know why the disability is.
it’s not that i don’t want it to be true, it’s just extremely problematic that she’ll do something that angers people or that is offensive and when people try to hold her accountable she wants to cry that it’s her disability without even knowing what it is.

I get how her using it as an excuse is wrong . But u saying she was never diagnosed implies she’s lying . clearly she’s slow . I mean look at her . She clearly got it from both her slow crazy criminal parents . Idk how yall expect better from her .

i mean i can see how you’d come to that conclusion but i never thought she was lying. i think her mother failed her as a child who clearly needed help, and instead of getting that help they just wanna ride the “disabled” train without actually having a diagnosis or even a baseline knowledge of what’s going on with tophia. which i’m my opinion is wrong.
because if she had a diagnosis and a care plan, maybe tophia wouldn’t struggle so much as a 30 year old.
she wants to blame it on her disability when no one in that family even knows what that disability is, and i feel that’s incredibly insensitive and wrong.
i have many family members on the spectrum and with various mental handicaps but they don’t use their truth as a way to skirt accountability and they don’t spew hateful nonsense and hide behind their disability to avoid accountability. they’re fully functional members of society, even my severely autistic aunt is capable of holding a job and maintaining a social life without being a pos.
so for her to hide behind her “learning disability” without ever actually seeing a professional to ascertain exactly what that disability is, is kinda gross and disrespectful to the disabled community. for all we know that learning disability is like dyslexia, which wouldn’t make someone say the shit she says.

and i do agree that both her mom and step dad clearly are not all there, but they should have done the right thing when she was younger so she could have learned tools to live a normal life.
and also, i expect better from her because if i have family who are disabled and can function in society, so can she. she makes disabled folk out to be this helpless ignorant people who can’t help what they say or do when in reality, many disabled folk live perfectly normal lives with hobbies and friends and jobs.

also- MARIE NEVER GOT HER DIAGNOSED. in marie’s subreddit she admitted they never took tophia to the doctor to see what the disability was, the school recommended they should do it because they *speculated* tophia had a learning disability, but marie NEVER took her to a specialist to see exactly what it was.
so tophia has just been riding this “learning disability” without having an actual diagnosis.
she just uses it as an excuse to be ignorant and say stupid shit.
