i mean it could be true in some cases that he's safer in jail because he's basically forced to be inside and taking his meds vs being off his meds and roaming the streets and setting fires indoors but i feel like they should all be working and trying to get an apartment and visiting papachu and maybe working towards a gameplan as a family to help him when he's released from jail

I hate Tofupa but this isn't how genetics work. I am half black and my skin is and was lighter than Tophias. I looked whiter than her as a baby with wavy hair, now I have the same white skin but 3c/4a textured hair and black features.

This picture actually makes me so sad bc they all look relatively normal here and to know what their family has turned into is really depressing. Tophia always shares this particular picture bc it’s probably one if not the only physical memory from that part of her childhood since she’s stated a few times that they lost a storage and/or a fire destroyed all their belongings.

My stepdad raised me , he was the best father figure I could ask for he’s passed away and unlike Tophs father figure I would never let him be in jail in the streets mentally suffering . If you love your dad so much get him out!
For what she knows that is her dad because she doesn’t know her biological father. I don’t get why people make such a big deal about this part of her lore when she has so many things that we can make fun of it sometimes comes across as misdirected bullying imo 🤷🏽♀️

Tophia and her mom are shit humans but I will say my little brother is mixed with a black dad and white mom and his hair is the same curl pattern as tophia and has tan skin but like not sun kissed Olive tan but a little paler. Like tophia’s but he’s not as light but he works outside so he gets a lot of sun.

Idk why you're downvoted, I hate Tophia but she is 100% biracial mixed with black, and these people have clearly never seen how different biracial kids can come out. Me and my sister are biological half black siblings, same mother and father, but she is 4 shades darker than me with wavy hair and I am lighter with textured hair. Genetics vary. Tophia is very clearly mixed with black.

I absolutely hate to side with her but it is extremely weird how a large group of people want to so badly take that away from her just because the person she’s become. I have so many mixed cousins that are Hispanic and they look alike (same hair texture , facial features and skin tone) and she even looks like my elementary bestfriend whose dad was half black half Mexican and his mom is fully black. It’s so weird when we could honestly focus on something else rather than her race/her father in question

I'm gonna preface this with a few details (I agree with your post but this is more for anyone else who reads this comment)—no, I don't like Tophupachu and no, I am not white. I'm just not mortally offended by her existence and try to introduce more "rational" perspectives as someone who laughs at other eccentric people on the internet.
I think it's because many users on this sub are POC with racial issues, so they project that onto Tophia (or some of them are underaged and don't really understand how race and genetics work). Tophia has very obvious "Black" features, and it's got (almost) nothing to do with her hair; IYKYK. Even worse are the ones calling her white—it's delusional, blind hatred. In all my years of lolcow watching, I've observed that the users the go the most hard in the paint over a lolcow—AKA an a-log—are usually very similar to the lolcow themselves, whether it be in personality, physical appearance, or both. It's almost as if the lolcow is a reflection of themselves, so they become irrationally offended.

I agree. Without even seeing Donald or brotherchu I just automatically assumed she was mixed /poc not because of her hair either it’s just her features resemble a mixed person. It’s giving racism a bit in SOME of these comments how just because she doesn’t have super curly 3A/3B and exotic features “there’s no way she can be black”. Marie and her don’t share the same hair texture at all , from what I’ve seen Marie’s hair is bone straight with little to no waves or curls. This whole saga of her race is exhausting and quite literally deadpan
