From what she's implying, if they have immediate family in the vicinity, ...why tf are they jumping from motel to motel? They're in no position to be too proud to get help. The math ain't mathing. Whether I am struggling or not, I'm not going to let my family, especially my sister, who is coughing her lungs out every day, continue being in the living conditions she's in right now. Oh really??? That makes a lot more sense now as to why it seems like they have no outside family/friends. Knowing her, there's more to it in that story than what she said.
