Papachu surrendered to police when “family” was mentioned
As much as I hate Donald, seeing his arrest footage and him giving up to the police when they told him his family was waiting outside in the cold made me feel kind of sad. Anyone else?

honestly i’m convinced papachu assaulted her in some way. i mean have you seen those old clips?? and if that’s the case, good for her on not giving af about him being taken away. i don’t like tophia as a person *at all* but no one deserves that shit. why should she give a fuck bout that dude? he’s not even her real father 😭
not to mention they’re literally arresting the dude for a kidnapping charge??? you really think he’s safe to be around??-
He definitely has his moments and there are some hints at some dark shit. I'd say he's a more caring person on his good days than anyone else in the family is, but also a genuine safety threat to those around him on his bad days. You can see it in how Tophia acts around him: laughing and smiling during his "good" times, but also instantly her mind going to a dark place when he says the wrong trigger words. He definitely did something, and it's surprising she hasn't mentioned it on stream so far. Such is the way with severe mental illness, and he definitely needs to be in a place where he can be treated. If the family had any money maybe he could've gotten the psychiatric care he needs, but since they don't, he really needs kept off the streets and placed in a facility for public/family safety

While being escorted out of the apartment in handcuffs, he kept asking officers to let his family back inside. While putting him in the patrol car, Donald kept asking “where’s my family?” which the cops replied with “they’re okay” they’re in “the parking lot”. Another officer went to tell the rest of the Slydells to go back inside. This is the clip where we see Marie concerned while Tophia is grinning about her dad being taken by police. it’s so sad. papachu clearly cares about them but obviously doesn’t/can’t convey it well because of his various untreated mental illnesses. tophia and papachu have had their beef, but she watched her daddy go to jail with a smile.
He cares about his family that can give a rat ass about him. He’s just a paycheck to them.
