I do think pedophilia is also a type of mental illness though. You’re supposed to wanna protect children genetically, either lead them or help them into adulthood. Having feelings like that about prepubescents is a mental disturbance and some type of chemical imbalance in my opinion that can only be fixed through therapy and chemical castration (most pedophiles are attracted to the innocence and power rather than the actual act of sex).

I think the main issue to why she looks disfigured and messed up is because of her drug abuse in her 20s, poor hygiene, and unhealthy diet.

Personally I think Toph took after her momma. From what I’ve seen, Mamachu is expects people to give to her. She hasn’t done a single thing to help her situation when she was younger.
