She’s so awful. In 2019 when I was 29 I was viciously assaulted by a neighbor who was on PCP in my driveway for making eye contact with him, yanked out of my car when I parked and brutally beaten, pistol whipped and had a gun held to my head. He threatened to kill me multiple times and come back to kill me if he ever sees my face again. He lived on the street behind me. The DA dropped the charges because he said he wouldn’t do it unless he ever saw me again so she was like “just make sure he never sees you or your car again.” Makes no sense, but okay. He murdered the guy that lived directly behind me a month later. I have bad PTSD, I can’t live my life without anti depressants and I am afraid to be outside at all anymore at night, even in my own front yard. But I move on, I never stopped working my job, I even went the next morning. I kept going to therapy that specializes in PTSD and traumatic experiences. I never contacted victim’s services. Just because you experience one life altering traumatic experience doesn’t mean you get to play victim the rest of your life. You move on, you don’t compare your situation to a child’s extremely traumatic experience. She’s so willfully ignorant and she likes it that way. She’s never wants to better her life or move on. She loves being the victim.
