WHYYY does tophia want to be black so badly???? esp after, not only calling us a "burnt color" but claiming that most black women have "masculine features" and "get mistaken as trans" (smth along those lines)??
i just don't understand why she wants to be a "black baddie" so badly? while also stereotyping black women as ignorant women who talk loudly and wear false eyelashes and wigs?? like, just say you're jealous atp.
i'm sorry, she just disgusts me so much, i don't understand why she wants to be perceived as black so badly when it: 1. doesn't make her any better as a person?? 2. doesn't make her prettier, like girl, you're still ugly. and 3. has said disgusting things about black women???
not to mention her weird racism towards white ppl. no respectable black person does that shit, so wtf.

It could be she’s rage-baiting because she knows it pisses people off when she says she’s black.
I personally think that she tries to claim she’s black, because in her mind, Black people are victims of society, and if she can be black, then that means she is a permanent victim that you cannot demand anything from.
Please understand that I’m not saying these are my opinions about Black people, but it looks like they might be hers.
Whether it’s a racial identity, or a psychological illness, like major depression, or traumatic stress, she is going to pick and choose anything she can that she thinks will get her a free pass out of being responsible and accountable for her life

Had this conversation with my partner this morning--as far as I see it, Tophia holds a discriminatory, racist, and stereotypical view of black American women. She's posted before about colourist bullshit and about not being a "lashes having, wig wearing black girl" or words to that effect. She sees black women as unemployed, shallow, vain--and when she's criticised for being exactly these things herself, she holds up this strawman idea of blackness as a shield, "I see black women as XYZ, and you're complaining that I'm XYZ, so you must be being racist". Which makes the reality all the more frustrating for the rest of us, because here's this mixed white/latin woman blackfishing and not even doing it to "steal valour" for all the great and beautiful things black women actually do represent.

Nevermind having any setswana or arabic, she barely has any english. Like, I'm Irish-Italian (as in, born and raised in Ireland to Italian parents) and I get frustrated at the kind of Paulie Walnuts "italians" and Boston "irish", and there's not even a race element in that, it's amplified to a million percent when you're already in a position of having to push back against stereotypes and racism from the mainstream media and then seeing someone claim to belong to that put-upon group while just doubling down on all the worst prejudice.

she reminds me of a former classmate from high school that I went on a date with 8 years after we graduated high school. Like tophia, she would complain all the time and would threaten to kill herself if I refused to be her friend after she told me she wasn't attracted to me and that she had a virtual boyfriend on Japancupid. I called the police and told them about her suicide threat. Never saw her again since may 2021

Not a therapist/ psychologist (etc) my theory for her is that she knows deep down inside that her dad is either Ronald ( white guy ) or some random Mexican guy, and THATS why she hates both races ( ironic since her grandpa is Mexican - so technically she’s part Mexican ) so much and likes to fake being black.

i read a comment on this sub a year ago saying that a rumor on a comment on a facebook group from someone claiming to have gone to high school with tophia alleged that tophia's biological dad was a mexican guy marie hooked up with at the mexican border in order to get citizenship. here is the exact quote below:
