Her grasp on money and its worth baffles me.
So fairly new to the Tophia lore but I have been paying attention ever since she got kicked out of the motel. One thing I noticed is she has no grasp on how much or how little money is worth. Like, a reason she gives for not getting a job is that it’s pointless as according to her, she will make barely anything working full time on minimum wage. However, with her states minimum wage she will make close to $2,000 a month, enough to get a one bedroom and if not, she can save it!!! So $2,000 a month is not enough money according to her, but on the other hand, the pennies she makes from Tik Tok is enough for her and will be able to support not only her and her family. I fail to understand her logic lol.

She doesn't wanna work (or wash herself enough to stay at work), so a wage is never enough to change that; but since she does want to lay about and bap the flaps over asian teens all day, any amount of money that gets her is enough to justify it.

It’s as if she didn’t understand the basic concept that $600 > $180.

I call it Tophia math. Like $100 in the bank account and $0 in savings = $50+ door dash. She just genuinely does not understand money and the concept of saving on top of she thinks that every penny she makes should go to her “wants”. Tophia is the richest poor person I’ve ever seen.
