do u guys think tophia has some sort of addiction? shes been talking more out of it an recklessly and a person like her with an unfortunate life like her would turn to such for a grace period of "happiness" i think tophia is drinking because she speaks slower and more labored than she usually does but hey maybe im wrong im just throwing fish at a bucket till im proved right eventually.

I wanted to say it was alcoholism but people don’t understand. It’s not going to look like textbook addiction, they’re expecting some town drunk type of situation. But I think it looks different

    Addiction is a slippery slope. You start with experimenting, and then it becomes regular to the point of abuse, and finally dependency.
    
    She might not be dependent, but I do believe she's been experimenting lately. She was always vocal about not drinking and then out of nowhere in a recent live she mentioned that she might drink a Twisted Tea.
    
    She already has addictive personality traits. They're already cooped up in that car. What's to say that they won't cope with the situation by having some drinks?

i think some sort of spending addiction. i know what yall are gonna say “she doesn’t have money to spend”, well, coming from someone who HAS a spending addiction (me unfortunately), people will use every single cent they have/make and just spend it on stupid stuff. sadly i struggle with this. but some people see it as a temporary solution to happiness. she’s spending all this money on autographs at comic-con and doordash, just to make her happy for a short amount of time. then that wears off. then, she’ll spend money she doesn’t have.

people with spending addictions find it harder to save up for larger things such as a car or house. (i’m in no way defending her btw. i DESPISE HER)
she claims she makes thousands just from live streaming but we all know that’s not true. we all know she’s a miserable person, so what little money she gets, it’s gone right away.

I think a lot of people are mistaking signs of addiction with signs of just general mental distress. She could probably just be manic or, more likely, just spiraling due to the gravity of how bad their current situation is.

okay I’ve always kind of wondered if Mamachu was an alcoholic because it sounds like she slurs her words A LOT and agrees with tophia almost drunkenly and my grandma was a long term alcoholic and she had the same cough that mamachu has now.
