I can! ABQ is like the Wild West. I lived there 20 years and we ran for our lives in 2020. Both of my sons have witnessed shootings and one of them has no friends left due to gun violence. From what I’ve read so far my take is this: Family are living out of the car, guy who was in a car crashed them I think whilst fleeing another crime, then tries to steal their car, tophia jumps out the car and brotherchu refused to get out must’ve tried driving off during the struggle and ends up shot, police shoot carjacker who was already fleeing another crime. Mamachu is in the back of the car and tophia can’t get her out she ends up shot possibly in the crossfire. I’m not sure if this is all correct but just my take from watching/reading up when this was freshly announced a few hours back

while i feel bad, i only have a limited amount of sympathy. had tophia gotten a job to help them get off the streets, this would have never happened.

Her brother is presumed deceased. Her mother is presumed injured and hospitalized. Her father arrested. All in one night. I can’t even imagine.
