marie’s health
we now know that marie is stable and thank God for that but i worry about her health when she finds out about donald’s passing if she doesn’t know about it yet. she can suddenly become very unstable which i feel terrible about. no parent deserves to hear about their child passing before them and especially burying them. i just hope both marie and tophia pull through from this horrible and traumatizing situation.

i agree. happened to someone in my family; little brother passed and she followed a month after. i pray marie is okay and makes it even after this.

My mum had neighbours both in their 50's, husband passed(due to illness) and 3 weeks after his funeral his wife who hadn't been ill passed also. Marie isn't in the best of health as it is and going thru something that traumatic might just take a toll yet when it sets in, she might still be in shock and when she comes out of it and reality kicks in is when she might take a turn for the worst. If she makes it through then I just hope she is offered some help, she needs a home, somewhere warm and stable to lay her head.

My great grandmother lived to her 90s, my grandfater was very close with her and he passed just a couple weeks after her funeral.

I literally can’t stop thinking about what she went through seeing her son be shot right in front of her and then being accidentally shot by the police. I just feel so bad for her right now. 💔

definitely worried about her health when and if she has received the new yet . she will be so shocked . at the end of the day that was her older son and despite everything he loved his mom and took care of her . i hope marie can recover even with the broken heart we know she will have.

i really hope they apply or are given government assistance because i really don’t see how they’ll be able to pay for it all themselves. all of this must be so stressful for them and then also having to find a place to stay and having to rebuild their lives after everything? keeping them in my prayers

My grandmother passed away from late stage Alzheimer last month and seeing how much it cost to bury her was eye opening. It made me wonder how people living in poverty like Tophia could even afford to bury or cremate a loved one. If something happened to a family member and I had to be responsible for the burial I know I couldn’t even pay for the plot let alone anything else. And she’s going to need therapy which as someone who has been on Medicaid in the past I can say it was extremely difficult to find a therapist that accepted it. And the process of finding a therapist can be mentally taxing too. I can’t even begin to imagine the state I’d be in if I was in her shoes.

funerals are *so* expensive! my parents were looking at plots to be buried in so they don’t leave us scrambling to pay for because death really is inevitable and it was over 10k!! granted that is for two people but that’s not even including a service, the actual burial coffins or anything, just the plot. i can’t imagine the cost of everything on top of already grieving for their loved one.

The coffin alone for my grandma was over $10,000. I’m sure there were cheaper ones but they are probably still an insane amount.

Praying Tophia and Marie pull through this tragic incident. I still can't wrap my head around this. All in one night.
I'm reading and watching the news about this, they said there was a crash with a jeep and then the shooting. So was the suspect in the jeep that crashed before he tried to carjack their car? I'm still a bit confused about it.

Both her and papachu have been on my mind all day. Ik he just got arrested but I genuinely can’t imagine what he’s going to to when he finds out what happened to his son/family, he’s already horribly unstable as it is and this news is 100% going to plummet him into an even deeper spiral
