Just heard the news and I’m extremely worried about Tophia’s mental health.

After seeing something like that happen in front of you and then being left completely alone, anyone would be traumatized and in shock. I’m worried that she’s going to >!harm herself!< over this because she can’t process being alone and not haven’t anyone by her side as of now. If anyone who knows Tophia personally, please make sure that she gets some proper shelter over her for the time being.

I don't really know how it works over there in the US but with her health and now obviously her emotional state, she might not be leaving the hospital for a while if ever, which might be a mixed blessing.

Police reported she saw him with a gun shot wound to the head. She’ll probably never forget it. At this point she has two options live the best version of life for her brother or hit rock bottom and never come back up.

Before all this happened I noticed her lives were getting more and more erratic and I thought she would have a mental break down one day but this will for sure push her over the edge.

it seems like her life has been spiraling since that eviction. i can't help but wonder if, without tiktok, if her situation would be the same or not. i honestly believed that they would be out of the car by spring or before summer, at least living in a motel

she also had said several times she was having weird encounters with people coming near/into the car. I wonder if they were being cased by this criminal or someone associated with them before the crime happened. I hope she at the very least moves to a different location if she has to go back to living in a car.

If you can stomach it, listen to get audio again, she randomly stammers out "people from the internet..." then catches and corrects herself. It's that ingrained into her psyche.

All that and it’s also tricky because people clearly want to help, but we’re also unsure given her past history of handling money in dire circumstances…… I’m worried it might be like a Chris Chan situation where she starts to kinda lose her mind and also begins to take advantage of people’s well intentions

Yes, I have been praying for her mother and her since I heard the news. She is not alone, people do care and wish they could take this pain away from her.

It’s not fair to put all the blame on her. The brother and her had equal blame. She chose not to get a real job. He chose to waste his money on cars. They were both at fault for being homeless

I think ultimately we if we go back even farther it lays on both of them. Instead of just getting a job and trying to fix their situation when they were first about to get kicked out of the apartment they instead to continue to financially rely on a severely mentally ill man

pointing that out is just so insensitive. yea she said some nasty things on the internet, she just lost her brother and her mother was shot. her mother didnt wish death on ppl, neither did her brother. taking anything tophia says like that so serious to the point where when her brother was murdered, u feel the need to point out how she made nasty comments on a tiktok live. i cant forget it either but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with what happened today and it shouldn’t be used as a “well she said this snd look what happened” kind of moment.

Donald Jr has repeatedly told people including angie he was going to find a way to kill them, and also "allegedly" got someone to shoot up angies house and a car in her driveway. he also was psychically violent on at least 2 separate occasions with both his ex gf and a neighbor (who he threatened with a knife) so I mean... yeah... Donald Jr is a violent person who succumbed to a VIOLENT end.

I never said nor did the original commenter insinuate this was a targeted attack due to Donald’s past, however I would say that they are connected because when you put negative energy’s and violence into the universe karma does come back around and bite you in the ass. Not to mention, who knows how the situation could have been different if he wasn’t violent with his ex since that was a big reason for their breakup. He could have been living with her, and avoided being carjacked all together. Like… who knows?
I’m not even saying that Donald “deserved it” because I don’t think that, AT ALL. but you saying that Donald has NEVER said anything violent or made threats etc, is just plain factually incorrect. He has, and he has a temper and it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that he attempted to fight back against the carjacker or something similar and that’s what got him shot. Because Donald most definitely has a violent streak and temper running through him.

I experienced (from the sidelines) a situation like this recently. Spoiled because its.... unpleasant.
>!A friend of mine took their own life last year, 2 months after they had lost a sibling in a car accident. I won't get too deep into the details, but they had family and friends to support them and were getting professional help, but they still went through with it.!< Not only was Tophia's experience much more traumatic, she doesn't have a support system. Their only source of income and shelter is gone. Donald Sr is so disturbed he probably won't even be affected by the news. Marie isn't long for this world. I don't think she has any extended family still in contact. And Tophia has an absolute lack of willpower and coping skills on her own- she's leached off Donald Jr and been coddled by her mother through every bit of adversity she's ever faced and never taken initiative to do anything to help herself, and unfortunately she's so far gone that I don't see even this changing that. Most likely she squanders any donations she gets on fast food and useless junk to support her "mental health" but once that pool dries up and her mother is gone, she'll truly have no options left and may not even be willing to face that reality.

Well, what also scares me is because for the longest time Sophia was obviously living in a delusional fantasy land, and recently, it had begun to get more extreme with her ramblings. She would constantly try to act like her life is much better than ours. I’m wondering if this could possibly send her into like a psychotic break

I honestly don't think mamachu will last too long after this. I hope Tophia can find strength and change her mindset, and try to live a better life. We can't change her circumstances, only she can .

I hope she can stay in the hospital with mamachu for the time being. Hopefully they offer them both resources and she uses them to her full advantage instead of taking advantage of hospital staff like she has before

I’m also worried about her living situation after all of this. I’m assuming that this was their one vehicle & Tophia cannot drive (she’s mentioned wanting to learn how to IIRC). I’m praying she and her mom gets the help they need🙏

I really hope Marie can recover, though I doubt she can mentally. Having to ride around with your son’s body and his murderer is beyond traumatic. She’s already old and sick, living in a car made it worse. Now this? Along with her husband going to jail on the day their only son died? I wish her all the best with healing and hope she gets all the help she needs.
