No where am I saying that what happened to Tophia is result of this Reddit or the internet in general. However, I want to convert it very well could have been and the DS is full of very very sick people

Some of you are kids still and that’s clear so I hope you process what I am trying to say here

I’m a grown woman and an open user of PLENTY of snark groups and snark discords. Never in my life have I seen anything even near as bad as Tophia was.

This wasn’t snark, this was harassment. Not only harassment but some on you are so WEIRD and you need mental help. It is OKAY to keep up with an LOL cow, it is okay to snark, it is okay to crack jokes and make memes

WHAT IS NOT OKAY is physically involving yourself in the harassment of another human being.

I remember joining this dS, seeing literal pictures of her in her car, you guys were actively stalking her.

I remember someone saying. “Things have been boring, someone do something.. someone go throw something at her car”

Sending men to her hotel room.

Do you know how absolutely dangerous that all could have been? Interfering in someone’s personal daily life is INSANE.

I often thought something like this would happen. A tragedy… and it did

If someone would have asked me what my thought would have been. It would have been that one of you swat her again, while papachu WHO IS MENTALLY ILL was there. He’d resist or have an altercation with the police ultimately leading to him getting seriously injured or possibly even dying. And none of you would have batted an eye if that happened.

Do you understand? Do you understand how dangerous what some of you are doing is? Do you understand that something like this could have potentially happened because of you. We still don’t even know the circumstances of the situation.

This has gone FAR beyond snark, this has gone FAR beyond cutting up on an LOLcow this is dangerous. I took plenty of screen shots in the ds of things I thought were literally insane

YOU PUT THIS PLACE OF WORK ON THE INTERNET FOR STRANGERS TO SEE, SOMEONE COULD HAVE HURT HIM BECAUSE OF THAT ACCUSATION AND ALL FOR A POSSIBLE RUMOR????

I hope you take a moment to think. To remind yourself that “fitting in” on an online form is not worth potentially destroying someone’s life.

I hope you understand that what you DO and what you SAY matters.

I know plenty of horrible people I don’t go out of my way to actively involve myself in there lives maliciously. At the end of the day that makes me JUST AS HORRIBLE.

Enough is enough. This is no longer just snark.
