She posted on her instagram story with concerns about a go fund me and cashapps. Not a singular thank you. Not a we are doing fine. Not a my mother is recovering well. Her situation is tragic none the less but come on. You couldn’t wait a full 48 hours to start talking about money

dude she just went through an extremely traumatic event, i don’t think shes feeling any sort of happiness or gratefulness right now and it’s understandable. this is a weird thing to be expecting from her right now.

I know what she’s dealing with to an extent. I’ve never been homeless but I’ve seen someone I love die in a horrible way. My first concerns weren’t about people be scammed. She has already been under fire for missing using money and the first thing she talks about when she comes back online is cashapp and go fund me. I feel like she should live had someone else deal with this issue like her uncles or something

of course she was worried about scamming and you weren’t, considering she has a lot of attention surrounding her name and situation right now. it’s not that hard to understand jesus christ. how can she misuse money in the situation honestly? worst she does is get a place to stay. i doubt any fun things like comic con are even on her mind right now after all of this 💔.

so…you don’t know what she’s experiencing. what do you want her to do? she has nobody, no family- literally nobody. she is homeless, jobless, no license, her brother was murdered in front of her, her mother was shot, and her father is in jail. “she has always been under fire for misusing money” her past actions do not erase the fact that she is a victim, nor does her being a victim erase her past. you can feel empathy for a person you don’t necessarily like.

I feel like it’s possible Tophia didn’t know Donald Jr’s friends at all, which is why she’s saying not to send money to anything that doesn’t come from her & people are largely misinterpreting it as Tophia trying to profit off of this.
Of course, we know the gofundmes are created by people that knew him who genuinely want to help. Tophia however, does not know or understand that.

Hopefully his friends reach out to her because I believe they held a memorial for him. They claim they are also raising money for Tophia and her mother so sooner or later they have to meet. I’m hoping one of them will be able to assist her with figuring out her situation or getting them a place to stay. If not hopefully the hospital or police will work with the Slydells to get them off the street. I don’t think they would just abandon them considering what happened was a crime.
