Anybody else absolutely horrified at the new details uncovered. We knew that the shooter drove away with Donald and Marie in the car. But Tophia stated that he literally SAT on Donald?? With Marie right there witnessing it in front of her eyes, that’s gonna stay with her forever. Just thinking about that made me cringe. How horrible.
Hope this doesn’t get this post deleted, but on another note, I see that many people are up in arms again, mad at Tophia for saying we should have helped her sooner. I think y’all are misinterpreting her, she never directly said “you guys.” Either you guys lack listening comprehension skills or are just waiting to jump back on the hate train. I swear some of you guys are just aching for a reason to bash on her. Even if she did say that, Let her get everything off her chest and to just say whatever considering everything she’s gone through. I genuinely feel for her and hope she gets through this somehow. Marie too of course, can’t imagine a mother having to experience that. Down the line, yes I hope she takes this incident as an eye opener to better her circumstances.

Obviously if you take drugs you’re not immediately going to become a homicidal maniac. But drugs dramatically alter your brain and thoughts. Someone who wasn’t previously prone to violence can absolutely become violent due to drug usage. It changes you chemically.

I get that she is in hell right now but this is not new. She has completely rewritten her history so that internet trolls are responsible for every bad thing that has ever happened.
She is on video saying the family didn’t pay the bills and yet now she blamed the internet for being evicted. She makes “content” nobody cares about and yet she blamed the internet for being in poverty. She squandered her money on Good Burger photo ops and she blamed the internet for her being homeless. She broadcast every detail of her pathetic, nasty life and blamed the internet for her reputation. People told her to get a job, get real shelter, and get to safety, and she screamed insults and death threats.
Even in the moments after Donald was murdered, when she was choking and sobbing, she STILL coughed out a half-formed thought that “the internet” had something to do with it.
This is just who Tophia is. She won’t change. She could be dying in a gutter, clutching her last remaining ComicCon tchotchke and she would still be blaming the internet for her life.

Here’s the thing I hate this happened but that’s her problem she had set on her ass for years waiting for the problems to be solved!!!! Help coming Tophia thinks some super hero she sees at comicon is coming to save her !! She’s a grown adult who helps us ?? I’m not one of those who don’t lack empathy I lost my mother to domestic violence and my father to suicide trust me I know this pain I’ve been on my own since 16 years old I know help is me she needs to learn this shit if she is mentally challenged and cannot work she needs to apply for it they all lived in that car for a year not one dime was saved we have watched them go to comicon DoorDash food you name it so with that being said social media needs to not be her first concern

THIS! Exactly this! I have empathy for what’s she’s going through as I’m sure it’s horrible, but I do not have sympathy for the situation she’s done next to nothing to help get herself out of. Her brother was working & they’ve been homeless damn near a year now. There was no reason they couldn’t have at least saved up enough money to find a cheap motel for the time being.

I know what she said was horrible and in no way is it any one’s fault but the carjackers, but this girl just experienced something that will mess her up for the rest of her life.
She watched her brother get murdered in front of her, and her own mother. I know this is same old Tophia, constantly blaming everyone for no reason, but I feel we should be more lenient. I will at least.
Of course this event is going to take all her negative traits from before and make it worse, hence her blaming us. You don’t have to feel bad, you can have your own limits to the feelings you have towards her, but she just had her life changed forever. It’s so heartbreaking to hear her sobs.
I’m not agreeing with what she said whatsoever, but she clearly needs help.

I agree. She’s traumatized and doesn’t have any support system. I wish people in this sub would give her a little bit more grace at this time rather than looking for reasons to point out everything that is wrong with her. It’s fine to not donate but I don’t see how punching down on her is helping anything.

This! I can't stand to listen to her cry out. She's GRIEVING. And not just grieving, but trying to navigate seeing her own brother get shot, in the head, not even 5 feet from her. Some people haven't even been the victim of a crime before, nonetheless witnessing something so heinous, traumatic, and just plain senseless transpire right before their eyes...
She really needs to put the social media away for the foreseeable future. Tophia's head wasn't on straight before this, and I have little faith that she will ever be able to get over this fully...who could? Her brother was the breadwinner with the measly dollars he did make.
I really do feel so horrible for her, having to bear witness to my own trauma, I will be giving her grace during this extremely difficult time.

To be fair you can't carjack an apartment. Tophia didn't cause this situation, their homelessness did but Tophia's entitlement caused their homelessness. Her getting a job and contributing to a safer place to live would have prevented this.

You know, I can understand grieving. I get high emotions. And she is going through an even rougher patch in her life.... however, she is still an ADULT, like the rest of us. Her life getting even worst doesn't excuse her from taking accountability for people being so called "Mean" (Critical) or give her a pass to shit on donators who has enough sympathy to give out through the kindness of their hearts and concern. I guess I'm coming from a place I got dealt some of the worst hands in life, couldn't expect donations, and life didn't care I was "On a spectrum". There's so many people out there who are less mentally and physically capable than her and they still manage to find a way to cruise through life without demeaning, begging, or scamming. I would like to think that all that’s going on in her life rn would make her wise up. So I guess we’ll have to see. I too hope she does get it together after this, but realistically that’ll probably take some time because all of this is so fresh. She should take advantage of whatever services are offered to her because of this vulnerable circumstance. Hopefully a case manager or social worker can help and she can go from there. Thats best case scenario

yeah. I overreacted at first. and fully agree with this thread. Just because someone felt the need to tack on a petty response to that video and interpret it as her saying it's everyone else's fault the way things happened like this, it doesn't mean that's what she said.
And anyone who thinks I'm being a white knight by saying this should get a rusty pipe jammed up their ass. Tophia hasn't been a saint, but she was breaking down when she said this "awful" message.

Exactly that. I’ve always felt bad for Tophia because despite everything she’s done allegedly, it was clear from the get go that she was developmentally delayed, intellectually disabled, or both. It’s clear her family couldn’t provide themselves with the proper resources. Someone like her never should’ve received this online presence. This also doesn’t mean that she’s free of her actions because ppl like that can still do bad things. So now that all of this is going on, I honestly feel VERY bad for her and hope she finally gets the help she always needed.

Like when they were searching for her motel and shit like that, I honestly was like…🫥🫥🫥🫥🫥🫥😭 I’m in no position to judge because I did Shay the Apple Store girl the same way but once we/her lore community got her kids taken and made her homeless, my job was done.

I felt bad at first- yes. Nobody deserves to see what she saw go down. The biggest issue for me is how she played the “poor pitiful me” card for YEARS. No matter what their situation what, where they were living, etc. She was always “in-need” and it was her supporters fault for not fixing it all and sending her money. I hope this is a wake up call for her. Like I said, devastating, I feel terrible for her and her mother for what they witnessed and the trauma that will follow, but she needs to either be in a facility for mentally-challenged adults, or needs to pick herself up by her boot straps and get to work on turning her life around. Either way, brotherchu was working last I knew? Maybe not, but he seemed to be the only “stable one” minus the pedophilia shit he was pulling. Anyways, that’s behind us now because he is gone for real. Tophia can’t go back and “start over”. She needs to step the fuck up and stop blaming complete strangers for HER messes.

I agree 💯! I imagine the people who are hating on her, just a few days after her life has been turned upside down, have hurt in their own lives that they’re living in anger over. Or they’re vile humans.
Living with the picture of her brother and mother in her head for the rest of her life will be horrible. Tophia’s mother needs to be in a home with 24 hr care. There has to be a state agency who helps people like Tophia, right? She’s not mentally okay enough to manage her own life without help.

Yep that’s what I’ve always said. Marie should be at a skilled nursing facility. I work at one and I have a lot of residents “like” her here. As far as Tophia, she’s high functioning but still needs counseling and guidance from a case worker or social worker. Tophia is not at the mental capacity of someone her age, and it’s crazy how people sweep it under the rug and say she’s just lazy and delusional. It’s a mental thing she has

Everyone has their own rights to react, there's no need to fight for whose reaction is appropriate. I feel sympathy for Tophia, of course. Who wouldn't?? But not sympathy for the way SHE handles it.
