While I feel for Tophia and no one should have witness what she did or go through what she did, two things can be true at once. She is NO ONES responsibility but her own. She is a 30 year old woman who was living in a vehicle because SHE was too stuck on social media and “making it.” She didn’t want to get a job and find stability. She turned around and tried to blame others saying “yall should’ve helped us sooner” the same way all of us figure out life on our own, push for better, and actually work towards it. She should’ve too. Having followers on social media doesn’t exclude you from having to put work and get up. And this wasn’t targeted so why even place the blame on others when the blame should be on the person who did the shooting. I’m just in awe that somehow her viewers are in fault for not helping.

But at the end of the day, sending Marie so many prayers to get better physically, mentally, and emotionally. Seeing your son in that state is something a mom could never forget.
