Government Assistance
I would never understand why tophia never got any government assistance. I believe she has said but don’t quite remember, but she needs to get that idea out of her head and look around for resources especially right now, Food stamps could have been helpful or even food drives so tophia can make her own meals but of course doordashed and ate out. Could have went and gotten housing assistance but of course wanted to stay in the car. and they are MANY programs where they could have probably helped get a job but of COURSE she talked down on us 9-5 workers. Would tophia ever come to her senses or she is just kinda stay in that mindset

I don’t know if I’m going to get hate for his but it’s her cockiness and pride is the reason for not getting government assistance tophia thinks she on top of the world and above everyone else bc she’s “famous” (I put famous in quotes even though she as a huge following it’s all for the wrong reasons) Tophia thinks she too good for everything and her cockiness and pride is the reason for her downfall

She did apply for section 8, she was told she needed to be working to qualify. Marie does get food stamps. I’m not sure how much but when they lived in the motel they would order groceries from Walmart.

Not sure if I’m remembering this right but I think she said she had no form of ID, I feel like that has a lot to do with it.

Yeah I remember that, even if it couldn’t have been hard to get one if she had the motivation to get better

You need to be working plus she would need a mailbox or PObox to get the mail needed for the paperwork.

If you’re homeless, you don’t have to meet the work requirement for food stamps so I always assumed she was getting them

Yes, But this was before, ive already got told most of this. But she still needs a job at one point she can’t just get everything handed to her
Because getting government assistance takes effort (applying), and that's something she doesn't do
