I’ve followed Tophia for years, and Donald Jr.’s passing upset me. I kept hoping the Slydells would get the help they needed, but from behind a screen, it felt like there was nothing I could do but watch.

Today I volunteered at my local food bank. Community matters. Asking for help isn’t easy, and I want to be part of making it less daunting. Maybe posting this will inspire someone else to do the same.

Got some steps in, met good people, and brought home some bread to share.
