absolutely. i know marie wants to be with her daughter, but if she is, she will just be in a car again homeless. she needs to be taken care of, she should’ve been taken care of!

Tophia could visit Marie daily if she wanted to. I get that they want to be together- but again, she fails to understand sometimes it’s not what you WANT but what is NEEDED. Marie needs stability and care and cleanliness. Tophia cannot provide that right now. In the future if she can, great! But for now Marie needs to be somewhere where her needs are prioritized for once and Tophia is not putting herself and fear of being lonely first.

this - when my grandma was in a nursing home we had a family member there once a day visiting her. my grandma wasn’t happy being there, but she knew she had to be there cuz she wasn’t able to safely live on her own. Of course not everyone wants to put a loved one in a nursing home or care facility, but at this point what other option does marie have? Her health is on the line. Tophia cannot provide the care that Marie needs.

!!! my grandparents are in a nursing home now, because none of us have the time to take care of them and they need 24 hour care, we visit them frequently. i wish i could live with them, but that’d be selfish, health is much more important.

And I get it may be Marie saying she doesn’t want to. But as a coherent adult who loves her mother, Tophia should explain to her that a facility would be the best place for her right now and help her
process that.

“The internet” didn’t get you kicked out of places, you were kicked out for NON PAYMENT. She has said it herself multiple times too. Plus she doesn’t fucking get it. Was her brother killed because of gun violence? Yes it was a car jacking gone wrong. However, her brother would still be alive if they weren’t homeless and having to sleep in their car because of her. If they both were working, they would’ve had enough money to get an apartment or a hotel room, pay their bills and still have money left over for them to do what they want with it. Therefore, they wouldn’t be sleeping in their car. She knew of the dangers and refused to fix the circumstances. She wasn’t the one that pulled the trigger, but she might as well should’ve. It was unfair of Tophia to put all the stress of financially support them on her brother. I just keep hearing her complain about herself or how this stuff is affecting HER. They will try and keep Tophia and her mom together but at the end of the day Maria is their patient and top priority NOT TOPHIA. I’m also fully under the opinion of if she asks people for money for her brother‘s funeral and then wants to instead use that money for something totally different those people have the right to tell her what to do with THEIR money. They donated it under the pretenses it would be used for Donald’s funeral NOT to support Tophia and her bullshit actions. We all know she’s going to blow that money on useless shit and not on what’s important right now or just important in general, her track record is not the greatest. Does she not realize the amount of money she possibly could have earned if she made videos/live streamed things surrounding her actually working?? That content already gets a lot of views (like fulfillment center packing videos, or fast food service related videos) factor in that it would be Tophia making that content??? I can’t even begin to imagine how much she could’ve gotten. I have never heard somebody complain so much about other people helping them. We did not get your brother killed, YOU DID, you lazy piece of shit and that’s just the facts. Horribly sad facts but the truth. Donald would not be dead if Tophia wasn’t lazy and didn’t refuse to work. People can get mad at me all they want, but that’s the sad truth. Like I said, she didn’t pull the trigger, but she might as well have, as they were in those circumstances because of her. The first few days I was fully supportive of her and felt absolutely horrible. Now? all that compassion has gone out the window because of her rudeness and entitlement. All I feel sorry for is Maria, Donald jr and the people who ACTUALLY cared for Donald. Tophia can claim she cared for him, but we all know that’s bullshit. She cares about nobody but her damn self.

Like Tophia needs to grasp reality. Her mom will not survive very long if she is forced back into that car. Not only because she was already suffering, extreme coughing fits, and severe incontinence prior, but she suffered a very severe gunshot wound and suffered severe trauma and the loss of her son….. She could die of a broken heart if not outright medical neglect.

I was defending her in the first 48 hours.
My heart is just too full of empathy and compassion for others.
It was the heat of the moment, and now it's been diminished. Deep down I knew she wouldn't change and would still be an entitled asshole.Maybe at least with this attention on them, Marie will at least get some help and maybe housed.
But Tophia needs to put in the effort for her own self.Rip Donald, minus the underaged girls you were trying to holler at and accusations of DV, you were overall a good person.
