Funeral, medical bills, and Topher
I know we’ve all been wondering if a funeral will even happen, but I doubt they will be able to afford a funeral. The cost of a funeral is insane, and a casket even costs over a grand. Also who would even organize it? Hopefully the money never gets in Tophers hands. She’s going to use it to do something stupid by “honoring” him and try to go to vidcon or go to California with the money. And if Donald’s friends give it to Marie… Topher will probably bully her out of it or convince her to do one of tophers stupid ideas. Plus she’s in no condition to even organize a funeral. Hopefully his friends can help Marie give him a nice memorial. There’s another issue tho, how will Marie and Topher even pay Marie’s medical bills??? They could sue the perpetrator… but again I doubt that Marie would do that herself unless someone reached out and helps her do that. It’s also disgusting what Topher is doing. She’s even using her families tragedy to push herself into the spot light. When more of the news articles came out she was only upset that they didn’t mention her at all. It’s always “me me me me” I can’t believe how dark it’s getting to where she hardly even cares about her family. We all know she only mentions papachu when it can benefit her.

I feel like the cheapest option here is cremation, but that's still like $3k in some places. None of the Slydells have an estate that can pay for the funeral, or be leveraged for a loan (which they may not even qualify for, since their credit is ruined).
If you can't afford a funeral, the funeral home or morgue can put the body in the cooler and do things like charge daily fees for it being there, or they can release it to the state, which can do whatever it wants. They are pretty damn screwed. Don't ya love the USA?

With $7k, I see them cremating Donald and planning a service with his friends. Makes the most sense given they don’t have a lot of close extended and have heavy financial constraints.

They aren’t on government aide. They never applied for it because they are lazy. Neither of them have been to the doctors in years according to tophia before this incident

They won’t let the mother leave without insurance. She would have a social worker helping (at least the mom) get on insurance. As far as Tophia, yeah idk

She's on it, in a state of emergency. They will sign you up if you don't have it and qualify for it. I had a lap, and they did it for me. And just recently, my husband's mom's boyfriend needed emergency surgery, and they did it for him. Yes, the US is shifty, but they will help in cases like this

Yep! That’s my job. It’s mandatory for MOST cases. Most likely, given the homeless situation, Tophia would be enrolled as well as what I may assume a caretaker, if not that, just her current homeless circumstance. Really wish the best for them. I see this a lot, I do think unfortunately think Tophia is more concerned about what she can gain from the tragedy but I do hope they take advantage of the health care system and get some help…all in all, it is a very tragic situation. So sad. Best of luck!

She let slip days after her medical bills were paid for so someone was jealous, or Marie got her state medical back

They can go through the VA also since his dad is a veteran. He could be buried in Arrington for free and later when Donald Sr passes he can be buried with his son.
She is all kinds of messed up man.
