So, I was on TikTok watching videos when I came across this one.
We all know that what happened to her was a tragedy. We can agree that losing a family member is something you would never wish on anyone.
She obviously couldn't have set that up—I don't know what the person who wrote that was thinking.
But why are people in the comments saying that the internet "ruined her" and "caused her" to be homeless?
As far as I know, she never paid rent and always acted irresponsibly when asked to pay rent, choosing to spend money on fortnite coins and deliveries instead.
She is PART of the problem—so why is all the blame on the internet? Are these people really acting like her actions and decisions don’t have consequences just because "she's a victim of bullying"?
The internet wasn't in control of her money, life decisions, it was ALWAYS her.

A lot of people forget that Shay abused her oldest son into a coma, gets blacked out right in front of them while going live due to alcoholism, got her own children taken away + arrested for neglect, the kids went to school looking disheveled, had maggots and roaches inside her house with those two boys. Occurrence 1: her son “found” a pill bottle and took all of them. A toddler………she admitted this and then talked about PPD so putting two and two together..she untwisted the top and left it in his reach.
Occurrence 2: her best friend beat him into a coma.

Maybe she severely beat him. Idk as much about her other than that she was allowing her niece to be touched in front of her by one of the boys in the house even though her niece was literally right there screaming & crying and she could have easily stopped it

I really hate when lolcows are brought up on TikTok because there’ll always be people on a high horse complaining about how lolcows (the idea) are horrible and Daniel Larson (for example) is innocent and didn’t deserve what he got, and act like trolls are 100% responsible for his actions (even though he liked kids way before social media… but they leave that part out for some reason)

Tophia literally refused (and is still refusing) to get a job or do anything productive. She just let her brother pay the bills/rent/whatever for the apartment and motel because she feels like she doesn’t need to do anything besides watching tiktok. If she had gotten a job i’m sure they would be living in that apartment still. No person except herself made her homeless at all!

The internet didn't ever have an obligation to house tophia. We are not responsible for financially supporting strangers who just don't feel like they should have to work or budget. Where the fuck has all this entitlement come from. This world is hard and if you aren't prepared to work or take care of yourself homeless is where you end up. Life isn't fair for any of us. We had to figure it out. So does she.

Like most people didn’t donate constantly to her whenever they thought she needed food or was about to get evicted. It’s not our fault She treats that money like a 13-year-old girl treats her allowance and immediately goes on a shopping spree. Not to mention people have offered advice links to resources or even bare minimum how to improve her content so that she can make a career out of social media. She doesn’t want it.

Tophia never did anything like getting a job,saving money,putting priorities and necessities first she refused to change the situation her,her mother and brother were in it’s not our fault or the internets fault for making her homeless the truth is she did that herself she needs to take responsibility for it and change her lifestyle and her decisions she made and continues to make now.
