First Exposure to Tophia
Members of r/tophiachutiktok, where did you first learn about Tophia? For me, it was YouTube after going down a YouTube rabbit hole of LOL cows, starting with August the Duck’s King Cobra JFS cooking video commentary.

About a month before eviction Era from the apartment. Her live showed up on my FYP and she was crying on live, and I felt so bad for her as I was reading the comments. I thought people were very cruel to her. Then I watched a few more of her lives and they were super boring. She spent more time looking at her phone and then one day she popped up on my FYP with all the eviction stuff and her mom losing her mind in the background and I was hooked.

My cousin sent me a tiktok where her dad wanted her to take the trash out and she was complaining to him that she didn’t want to because she might get “kidnapped” if she walks outside to do a simple task. She was throwing the biggest fit about just simply taking the trash out.

Apartmentchu era, I wanna say a few months before eviction maybe? When I first caught her live on my fyp i thought she was really fucking ugly tbh and I was intrigued by how weird she looked. I also wondered why she went live cause her lives were so boring to me at first and was surprised she showed any of her dingy apartment cause I’d be embarrassed. Then i realized the chat was hilarious and the stuff she did was so ogre like and funny and the cameos of her Neanderthal family made me laugh. Plus she went live at night a lot so it was fun getting stoned and watching and laughing my ass off.

2 years ago, I was on YT. I needed something to listen to at work and came across Tophiachu. During this time I had to quickly download videos as mp3s and I didn’t look much at the thumbnails of what I was downloading. This meant I didn’t really know what the people looked like. So at work I’m listening to a Tophiachu video and I was mainly like oh ok until it started talking about Papachu. That caught my attention lol. I was like what is this this wild family??? I actually still don’t know too much about them lol. I never made time to go down the rabbit hole.

I actually know Angie and I remember when she was dating Donald and she would tell me about him and stuff when we would catch up and talk. When I was looking into the whole Tophiachu thing, I found out that Donald was Tophiachu’s brother and dead ass after finding about this a few days later Donald got shot.

It wasn’t until evictionchu when I became aware of the lore because all the tea pages sharing the raid body cam footage started popping up, and the rest is history. At first glance I had no idea she was in her late 20’s, actually named Tophia, and as awful of a person as she is.

Oh, I was waiting for this question. It was literally on the day that brother chew passed away. Me and my boyfriend watched a two hour video about her lore and then at the end of the video I was like let me go on her page and see what she’s doingand I go on her page and she’s posting about her brother and crying, and I was literally in shock because I was like oh my goodness this just keeps on folding in front of my eyes

I live in Albuquerque. About half a mile from Motelchu. I delivered a Doordash to them, and the stench and the strange facial features stuck in my mind. A week later, she randomly popped up in a YouTube reaction video I saw. The rest is history.
