do you guys think marie would have picked up toph’s ashes if she was in donald’s position?

marie has always had this weird favoritism towards tophia, even though she never achieved anything in life. still, donald is her blood and flesh as well and she doesn’t even bother with *at least* getting his urn so they could sprinkle it somewhere. imo tophia is feeding her bullshit like “his ashes are contaminated” but do you guys think marie would be acting the same if tophia was the one who perished?

I don’t think so. I think that if Tophia passed, Marie would be lost. She would have the strength to continue living herself, let alone going to get her ashes. They’re so incredibly enmeshed with each other it would surprise me if Marie tried to throw herself in Tophia’s grave. Their codependency is insane and so incredibly toxic to both of them.

i think it may be since marie kind of sees herself in tophia? still she never bothered to be an actual mom, so her codependency is kind of weird

Doubt it. Marie is a smooth brain like Tophia. I’m sure she wouldn’t be that bothered. He own son was murdered and she doesn’t seem to care. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Also what would she do with the ashes? That urn would not be easy to carry around…

Marie is pretty darn low intelligence to the point that I would even venture to say she's intellectually disabled and not capable of looking after herself without support.

She's been the absent-minded background character in Tophia's rise to infamy, and much like Tophia, Marie hasn't managed to do a single productive thing to improve her life since being evicted. I doubt she would know how to get anyone's ashes.

This is why is pisses me off when people claim Tophia is mentally disabled and were awful for calling out her terrible behavior. I think Marie truly is mentally disabled so we have a real life comparison. Marie clearly doesn’t comprehend basic concepts like how to get a place to live and is easily led by someone who simply pretends to be stronger. Left to her own devices, I don’t think she’d have messed with Papachu’s meds. All the shitty things that have happened to them are because Tophia’s ideas.

Tophia is stupid and delusional but she can function in the world. She just chooses not to be productive in any way.

You know you have a point. I’m pretty hard on Marie but looking at that perspective A. TOPHIAS grandma maternal and paternal would be the blame for Marie. But that older generation was pretty uneducated sometimes depending on the region in Spain they were from. That may also been what started the fighting is Marie was so low functioning and her mother probably wanted her to stay close to the family and then Donald came along whom I give no excuses to. I never will. He beat Marie and put her in ICU and criminal charges were filed like 2001 I thought. It’s sad because looking at it that way Donald sr was the only one to blame OTHER THAN TOPHIA IS WHAT I MEAN. Tophia 100 percent knows right from wrong. Yeah actually looking at it this way the only one that was of sound mind was Tophia 💯 and then Donald had mental illness but no mental illness makes you beat someone the way he did and all the stuff he’s done throughout the years. So now Marie has been programmed by Tophia 100%, Donald started it though. That nasty man took her away from a nice family. FU Tophia.

I don't think marie is mentally disabled as she managed to live on her own for over 10 years before meeting papachu as she spent 10 years living in her own apartment, forming romantic relationships , and partying at the nightclubs without being killed by someone or dying of a drug overdose

I mean you got to give marie for her being smart enough to not die of a drug overdose or not getting into a car with a stranger like David Parker Ray as a disabled person wouldn't be able to survive the nightclub party scene for 10 years

I don’t think marie got the proper education that everyone else had the chance to get, or she either skipped school to party and get wasted, and because she’s really following under tophia’s care she doesn’t get all the information.

even if she wanted to, she has no way to get there, no information on shit about her son, you already know tophia wont say shit about it to her mom and can’t give her a ride to get him.

and i feel like because she’s trusted tophia so much (with being the oldest) it’s probably a natural thing to pay more attention. because again she’s elderly and you will need to depend on your kids one day. and tophia back then was probably making more money than donald Jr.

and with everything that had recently happened she’s probably let go with reality, losing her husband, son, and tophia will eventually lose mamachu if she doesn’t change.

Imo i think if only tophia kicked the bucket. I could imagine that dj and marie would living with uncle drew and either don’t have presence on social media or just a little. Donald would also have now figured out by now what to do with her remains. Ofc in this case mamachu had maybe the same injuries and donald „only“ small ones. I think donald would have handled it all alone or maybe with some help of his family or maybe the friends that he might still have. And also there would have been a gfm.

When donald and tophia would have been bitting the grass and marie had severe injuries. Probably the luceros would have organised everything. Maybe cremated both and having their urns sitting in the house and maybe in this case a gfm wasn’t neccessary

But i think marie wouldn‘t do shit
