she bought a FROZEN STOUFFERS meal for $13 - surely she couldve replaced those for the $1 Michelina meals and some fruit and veggies LOL. Ranch and carrots? Celery and peanut butter? Grapes? Oranges? Apples? All of that together would've evened out to $15 INCLUDING some cheap frozen tv dinners.
u/Consistent-Bet-4103 • 1 month ago • score 12
Agreed but who eats celery with peanut butter 😩
u/talkedandchewed • 1 month ago • score 56

I see that big souffers meal for $13... could have gotten a couple bags of salad and a big bag of apples for that at LEAST. But biggie chu wants her prob family sized frozen lazagna (for her) if i had to guess
u/Covington_Head_Dr • 1 month ago • score 59
They could've at least gotten some Walmart microwave bag frozen vegetables. Those aren't bad quality or expensive
u/anonymousx97 • 1 month ago • score 37
She can’t afford the 99 cent great value frozen veggies and fruit , but she can blow $15 on a frozen lasagna dinner. They’ll be an excuse why she HAD to buy that instead!
u/Far_Back_7637 • 1 month ago • score 8
No that too! So many options!!!
u/Outrageous-Being869 • 1 month ago • score 11
Not to mention lasagna noodles and veggies and cheese to make the sauce and lasagna would've been cheaper and made more!
u/anonymousx97 • 1 month ago • score 21
Also she bought 6lbs of tubed ground meat… pasta, sauce… grab a damn onion, some spices, loaf of fresh bread and a bag of salad to make it homemade than spending $13 on one family entree of frozen lasagna. She’s actually so fking slow
u/anonymousx97 • 1 month ago • score 13
She’s so obese full of shit. Taking Marie’s EBT, she always has an excuse for everything
u/INeedAMedKit • 1 month ago • score 33
Using that EBT like a baller. Flexing those EBT groceries 😁
u/ihate8 • 1 month ago • score 64
mind u almost 40% of the total was from that 6lbs of ground beef 😭😭😭
u/Mike4455cool • 1 month ago • score 25
What is she gonna do with THEM?? are they back in a motel or what
u/anonymousx97 • 1 month ago • score 38
They gotta be. She never bought groceries like that when she was at the shelter since they wouldn’t have their own fridge / freezer. She’s a terrible liar and always tells on herself lmao.
u/aphb16 • 1 month ago • score 2
Hoarding their cow 😭😆
u/Independent-Swan1508 • 1 month ago • score 34
bananas are literally under $2 she couldn't afford that??? some fruits are expensive but bananas is the cheapest option. she couldn't afford fruit and veggies but she could afford a gigantic family size of lasagna?? why she acting like fruits and vegetables cost $30 EACH lol
u/Wise_Fun_1012 • 1 month ago • score 22
If Tophia was smart or responsible with money at all, she'd look at weekly specials to stretch her money. That's too much work for her, though, so obviously, she's not getting her money's worth (taxpayers' money) on groceries. $13 for a frozen meal is crazy work.
u/NarcHater255 • 1 month ago • score 48
She has the palate of a 5 year old but the appetite of an NFL linebacker

Some fresh greens, some tinned beans, frozen veg, gotta be the absolute cheapest way to eat and it's a lot better for you than what she's cramming in that ogre-hole. There's two separate $17 items there, now I don't know what they are but I know for the cost of either one (assuming prices in the US are similar to here) of them I could make a batch of soup or vegetable stew that would last a couple of meals and still have change left over.
u/perfect_fifths • 1 month ago • score 62
Never forget she spent $80 on Wendy’s once for herself. Just herself
u/thequeens_exit • 1 month ago • score 10
$80… LITERALLY HOW?!??
u/perfect_fifths • 1 month ago • score 2
It was DoorDash I think? So that has higher costs automatically, but I still don’t know how much she ordered to get to $80
u/HPMJ2014 • 1 month ago • score 17
Uh no, has anyone ever seen her eat a fruit or veggie? I doubt she even knows they are sold there. She doesn’t even drink water….
She isn’t wasting her mom’s EBT on anything she won’t touch.
u/planethoneyy • 1 month ago • score 31
She’s lying. She doesn’t eat fruit or veggies because she just doesn’t like them.
u/Outrageous-Being869 • 1 month ago • score 10
💯 she is just making excuses as to why she cant eat them the same as why she cant get a job!
u/killuaww • 1 month ago • score 20
Just went on the Walmart app and there’s bags of veggies you can buy under $3 😭
u/Ill_Charge3489 • 1 month ago • score 4
can't afford fruit??? even online fruits like are cheap asf ?? she could've at least gotten like one fruit for under a dollar
u/BigTscrookedteeth • 1 month ago • score 3
LMAO WHAT
u/flowerysloth • 1 month ago • score 6
But she could afford a 13 dollar frozen lasagna. With 13 dollars she could buy a decent amount of vegetables
u/melankolinen • 1 month ago • score 3

she could’ve got frozen veg/fruits or canned! 7 dollars for pancake mix?? 6 dollars for crackers? 15 dollars for one frozen dinner? Not one, but two 3 lbs of ground beef? For only 2 people? Pls
u/ineedmentalhelp0101 • 1 month ago • score 7
im not from america, but where im from you can buy big bags of frozen veggies for a fraction of the price of what they would be fresh? theres no way she couldn't just get that, or a big bunch of apples or bananas? she eats like an unsupervised 13 yr old.
u/COOCHIFLIPFLOPS19 • 1 month ago • score 2
Not from the US either but I'm sure you can get cheap fresh fruits and vegetables. She also could have gotten Great Value, Walmart's brand of food, which is often the cheaper priced compared to name brands. I don't get how she's spending beyond her means and she's spending it all on junkfood that's gonna cause more harm than good.

She purchased all that shit on EBT too so her shitty haul came from taxes.
u/Jellybeanzdream • 1 month ago • score 7
I buy a lot of leafy greens and veggies for my SIX rabbits (and myself too!😋) FROM WALMART, and it’s not bankrupting me, and I live on disability 🤷🏻‍♀️ Almost $100 for all that and no rice and beans? 🤔
u/lanasj • 1 month ago • score 7
you would think that growing up poor would make her learn how to budget and stuff but omg. beans are literally so cheap and versatile, she has no excuse😞 THE SIX POUNDS OF “hamburger meat” IS RIDICULOUSSS. that’s so much meat for like what, two people??? i can’t really talk too much abt her pallet though bc im lowk the same, im quite picky💔but then again, she’s pushing 400lbs at this point. girl is NOT picky at alllll
u/lanasj • 1 month ago • score 5
and veggies r so cheap, especially in albuquerque i think.
u/BigDealBoss • 1 month ago • score 6
I live in a city that is expensive. When I first moved her after college and was broke, I carefully budgeted and still was able to eat decently healthy. I'm sick of the trope that healthy food is expensive. Organic items, yes. But a regular bag of apples (5lbs) is around the same price as a family sized bag of brand name potato chips. It's not a matter of she can't afford it, she just has no discipline. If you take one item of junk food, you can easily find a fruit/veggie to replace it with for the same price or even cheaper
u/Jealous_Violinist619 • 1 month ago • score 1
What is she covering for $16.94 x 2???
u/MainPure788 • 1 month ago • score 6
great value frozen veggies $1-2, canned veggies around 98 cents
u/PrincessAintPeachy • 1 month ago • score 3
People sometimes like to look down on this, but it's viable option.

Canned fruit and veggies are cheaper and still better healthy alternatives than tv dinners

So if she can afford tv dinners at 13$ she can afford a can of peas and carrots for less than 2$ a pop
u/Tozi_Lee • 1 month ago • score 3
Girl you’re at WALLY WORLDDD produce is CHEAP
u/juliechow24 • 1 month ago • score 3
She could just buy lettuce or spinach and they're not expensive.
u/skydawgg445 • 1 month ago • score 8
she couldn’t even buy marie name brand creamer, she bought her the great value walmart brand. but only the best, name brand foods for bigtoptent
u/COOCHIFLIPFLOPS19 • 1 month ago • score 2
Is she fucking kidding. Bet that she didn't even try to weigh out cheaper options.
u/Spiritedawayfan2015 • 1 month ago • score 2
She could’ve bought fruits and veggies instead of the sausage and lasagna. Carrots, bananas, potatoes, lettuce, cucumbers are all low cost.
u/Cumonme24 • 1 month ago • score 1
but can afford $30 worth of ground beef… PLEASE
u/Historical-Corgi4014 • 1 month ago • score 3

u/Sharp_Shoulder1472 • 1 month ago • score 2
