How/why does Tophia get paid from Facebook?

Share: X Facebook LinkedIn Reddit
Tophia has mentioned multiple times in recent lives that she is being paid by Facebook for her content. This makes very little sense to me considering that her account isn’t even on professional mode, which is usually a requirement for monetization eligibility. I’m not sure if this applies to reels. Second of all, she’s only posted 10 reels in the past two months, with only one surpassing 1000 views. Is she lying about getting paid by Facebook or is the money she claims to make just pennies?

It's not a real public personality page, it's just her personal profile. No way is she getting paid.

Facebook and Instagram are both owned by Meta so she’s probably intentionally blurring those lines

It was a lawsuit about personal information stuff, I can’t remember how long back I opted into it but they sent out emails at the beginning of the month saying how they were gonna disburse the settlements in batches starting on the 22nd

facebook pays you if someone likes or comments. i have mine turned on i don’t make much but it can be 15-20 a month so if you get more interaction u can get more.

I didn’t even know that she had a Facebook page tbh. I took a look and noticed that a lot of her videos from the past couple months don’t even pass 200 views, with only a couple exceptions. She’s got over 400k followers, with a few video with over 5k views, so shes probably making **something** but I doubt it’s anything to brag about.

She has one old video with over 5K views and one newish one with 2.5K views, the rest are under 1K. She has 400K followers on TikTok but on Facebook, she isn’t even a professional page so it just shows 100 friends

Lol omg you’re right! It has her tiktok numbers displayed, and I just assumed that was her follower count on there. Ok, now I’m more confused. Maybe the other following numbers had something to do with why she was invited for a paid partnership on there. Orrr she’s just lying.

God she wouldnt know the first step to opening a restaurant, the only way someone like her would run/own a restaurant is by inheriting one and then running it into the ground.

Well now meta owns part of TikTok, she might get something if she would do Facebook right. But she’s lying about being paid for anything on it right now, not with that page.
