I wouldn't read much into it. It was probably for the pre-cremation viewing.

See that’s what I was thinking as well, but I was under the impression that she never claimed his body? So why or more so how would she have had a viewing if the body was never claimed?im not saying that she purposely avoided his funeral/ viewing? But more so how were they able to one have a viewing with out someone claiming him, and two, her losing his death certificate for verification to her relation to him, I may just be real dumb when it comes to stuff like this, or maybe I am reading to much into it it just doesn’t sit right with me at all

She claimed his body but never claimed his ashes. There was a news story shared here like a few days ago that stated she claimed the body (after the cops struggled to get ahold of her lol)

You’re thinking too much into it..

The viewing and the cremation + hand-off of the ashes don't happen all at once
You show up for the viewing, then they take the body, cremate it, and usually a couple days later tell you your loved one is ready to he picked up. She followed step 1 but missed out on step 2.
It's not a conspiracy 😅

Yo, it's cool. I figure that not a lot of people have experience with managing someone's final arrangements. Which, hey, that's not your fault.
Happy to help
