People dont need a stamp of approval diagnosis from a psychiatrist to validate a mental condition they may or may not have (in general not for the chus specifically) where im from therapy is a big taboo, so my interest in these things helped me recognize that "oh! This person acts like this archetype" so on so forth, and the "worse situation" comment is really distasteful, i understand your angle, these ppl expect the world to serve them on a gold platter and do nlthing but take up space and be a bother, doesnt invalidate the traumas they have experienced

I'm sorry, but Donald Sr. & Marie have been the persons who caused this horrible situation in the first place by conceiving these kids while they hat absolute no business having any kids tbh in their sh*tty situations and with Mary and her alcohol addiction which partly made her make these weird choices because she didn't have her priorities straight and much rather went out to do dr*gs and especially drink like the severely alcoholic she was; that's most likely of why Tophia looks like that: fetal alcohol syndrome... and her lazy docile and constantly only idle *ss while she should be doing something + Donald also, but at least he served in the army for a bit and thus got off his *ss and actually earned his disability.. but they both were the main reason why their family failed miserably and why they were all staying in homeless shelters off and on. These children knew nothing but poverty and living in shelters + growing up homeless... But yeah, once they turned adult age they shared the responsibility and started being complicit themselves as well... They also chose the very lazy and easy way out by not getting off their *ss and just accepting their bad living situations whatever happened to them... To be honest of course Donald, even though he was a predator, at least tried to slowly but surely improve their situation a bit by at least providing these cars they lived in + tried to contribute some by Doordashing and crashing on his fellow car enthousiast friends' couch apparently pretty often... It's dangerous to be so super lazy and to be okay with anything as long as it enables you to keep sitting on your butt without having to stop infantilizing yourself with Winnie The Pooh onesies, pick yourself up by your bootstraps, become an adult for real and find A JOB!! Oh, the absolute horror!! I bet if Toph this, she'd become very twamatised by the word job alone!! I could write a lot more, but hopefully you kinda get the premise of the situation if you didn't before, and why Marie's crocodile tears should really get NO sympathy at all! This is just the consequences of her own actions. Her son would still be here if she was an actual responsible parent that stepped up and gave enough of a shit for him but she didn’t. You know at the end of the day a parent lost their baby. No parent should have to see their child die or get killed in front of them. It's pretty awful, so I can sympathize. I can't even imagine, and I hope I never have to experience that type of loss.

This is what happens when you baby your kids instead of teaching them the value of education, drive, and ambition. I want to feel so bad for her, and I have so much sympathy that her son died and she had to watch.. and be injured in the process, but Marie did not do a singular thing to get them off the streets. At the same time, some people genuinely cannot do more and do not know how to do more. I can’t judge her, I can’t put myself in her shoes, and this all genuinely comes down to Tophia. She enabled Tophias behavior, which I cannot judge either because it’s her daughter, but good god woman. It gets to a point. RIP Donald, he was the only one working and making a living, he did not deserve it.

i mean while a tiny part of me can empathize with a mother losing her kid in such a brutal way, she did nothing to help the situation they were in. she will always follow whatever tophia says even though tophia treats her like shit. but at the same time, she raised tophia to be like that. no discipline, no home training. yeah a shelter would’ve sucked but it would’ve been better than staying out in a place they KNOW is dangerous. and like… they ended up at a shelter in the end anyway.

I think she actually does feel extremely upset about this and isn't doing it for likes and views compared to Tophia. She already lost one kid before, but I wonder to what extent she actually thinks about where she went wrong. She probably does feel like she should've done more as a mother, but she'll probably never admit that the trolls genuinely didn't have any impact on their situation. It's easier to blame someone else than yourself. I feel sad hearing her cry about this, but this isn't really funny to me now as it is disturbing. It is hard hearing her cry and losing a child is not easy whatsoever. I'm so conflicted because the chat offered a lot of resources, like food stamps and shelters. Marie felt like Tophia had everything handled and she just put all her trust in her because she was someone who was making a (very little) income besides Donald Jr and they were happy living the car. So MUCH could've been done and it's frustrating seeing this from her and Tophia, never seen them once go to a caseworker with DES.

As a parent I couldn't imagine losing my son. I don't know how I would be able to go on in life so I truly feel for her in that sense.

As a mom I feel for her loss but on the other hand as a mother how could you let your children fail like this??? I’m not rich and I had a horrible upbringing filled with trauma but I broke the generational curse and give my child everything she needs including a safe home to grow up in. It’s the LEAST you should do for your kids.
