Food stamps are considered an income based program. As long as a person makes under a certain amount of money they will qualify for and receive food stamps. There has been a change to the work requirements needed that will go into effect sometime in the near future. Single people who meet the eligibility requirements can receive food stamps.
WIC is a program that is only for households with children under the age of 5. Only certain foods are approved such as cereal, eggs, milk, cheese, baby formula, baby food, etc.

You can make a killer sauce with 1 onion, 1 can of tomatoes (preferably san marzano but plum tomatoes work fine too) olive oil, a few cloves of garlic and some Italian spices. It’ll cost double but you get 3-4 times the sauce. And it’s healthier, and it simply tastes better.
