She’s trying to get that schoolgirl outfit fund up and running
u/Mike4455cool • 4 weeks ago • score 73
Right and like how is she even gonna get 5 thousand dollars throughout those 20 days. Nobody is going to give her anything after her scamming.
u/Far_Fish8306 • 3 weeks ago • score 1
I can tell it’s for a Halloween haul cause when take the fact of the deadline and how shipping generally works, safe to say she’s saving for a haul by Halloween.

He will never be buried. I’m not confident he is still even at the funeral home. That ship has sailed
u/GrandMarquisDSade541 • 4 weeks ago • score 78
Guessing he is scattered in either the desert or the Rio Grande or disposed of with medical/forensic waste matter and that it happened months ago.
u/HPMJ2014 • 4 weeks ago • score 31
Yep and I am certain her and her mother were informed 🤷🏼‍♀️
u/Initial-Joke8194 • 4 weeks ago • score 12
This time of year there’s not much water in the Rio Grande I’d assume he was just dumped tbh
u/GrandMarquisDSade541 • 4 weeks ago • score 6
Desert or as medical waste?
u/Initial-Joke8194 • 4 weeks ago • score 13
Medical waste would be my assumption

Mortuary professional, here!

Most funeral homes will keep unclaimed remains for quite some time. If he was processed through a combined funeral service/crematory, that may be another story.

She's also absolutely full of shit whenever she talks about anything funeral home related, but that's also true with almost everything, anyway.
u/HPMJ2014 • 4 weeks ago • score 4
Even though the state paid for it? I always assumed it was combined because it was state funded.
u/NikiTeslasPigeonWife • 4 weeks ago • score 8
Not necessarily!

I'm not sure the facility he was cremated at. If it was through a stand-alone/private funeral home that services decedents through a crematory, his ashes would have gone back to said funeral home and the family would be notified he was ready to "come home".
u/HPMJ2014 • 4 weeks ago • score 12
Also thanks for your comment because I know very little about this topic 🙈
u/NikiTeslasPigeonWife • 4 weeks ago • score 13
You're very welcome!

Yeah, it's kind of a weird industry - most people know nothing about it unless they're a part of it. I guess it just keeps our mystique and weirdness 😎 😂

Yeah, I remember hearing about old abandoned funeral homes where they found numerous remains of people that—for whatever reason—were never picked up after being sent to them. So, they hung on to them & were still just sitting around for years after the places closed down, and were discovered after urban explorers went inside and filmed it or after someone finally purchased the property. One near Chicago, iirc, had numerous urns & caskets both that still had abandoned human remains in them that had never been buried or picked up, yet were all just left in the funeral parlor whenever it abruptly shut down. But even with the fact that most places will hold onto the remains, it’s still so strange to me that she has yet to pick her brother’s ashes up. It’s even more strange that the excuse she uses is because she doesn’t want anyone to “steal” his cremains.

He’s haunting her for sure . As she deserves

I’m confused? What exactly is she referring to filling out when she says “she has to put a date she needs the money by, so she put Oct 10th? Is this another gofundme, since that worked out so well the first time? Or is she trying to receive more funds from the government? I really can’t stomach watching her full lives they are so boring and she’s so stupid, I usually just watch shortened playbacks, so I def missed this…
u/HPMJ2014 • 4 weeks ago • score 1
I actually have no idea. I thought she meant the funeral home asked for them to put a pick up date and she would need the money at the date she selected. She is so dumb and lies so much, it’s hard to keep up.

No one is going to give her shit. IDK what she thinks is going to happen. Girl. She just wants to get Halloween squared away and food. Jeez.

And comic con. And unfortunately there are tons of idiots who will still pay
u/ericdeclan54 • 4 weeks ago • score 15
It's so dumb. I am literally surviving off ramen broth and she's doing everything BUT getting a job to take care of shit. I just don't understand.

Probably another scam from Tophia Janese Slydell and Marie Bernice Lucero, masters of crime and famous public poopers.

I don’t understand why she HAS to bury him . Like if you don’t have the funds to bury someone then oh well . Like just take his ashes and put him storage.
u/Relative_Variation25 • 4 weeks ago • score 30
I was confused I didn't even know people buried ashes? I thought they were scattered or kept in a jar, why is she so obsessed with burying him ??
u/Valuable-Breakfast49 • 4 weeks ago • score 15
I’ve never heard of it either. It’s probably rare to bury someone’s ashes tho . Like you said they’re usually scattered or kept in an urn
u/Relative_Variation25 • 4 weeks ago • score 7
Well now that I think about it she can't keep them since she's homeless so she should scatter them or have another family member take him, the whole obsession with burying his ashes is sooo weird and it hasn't even been done literally 6 months later what's the point
u/Valuable-Breakfast49 • 4 weeks ago • score 10
She’s literally obsessed .Like girl scatter the ashes or give them to your family that apparently likes you so much
u/Relative_Variation25 • 4 weeks ago • score 10
I think she's just obsessed cause she wants the damn gofundme money lol. You're right idk why she INSISTS on burying his ashes and raising a gofundme it's very strange I don't even think tophia should be trusted why doesn't the other family members handle that kind of thing? Literally why was TOPHIA of all people entrusted with that
u/NikiTeslasPigeonWife • 4 weeks ago • score 18
Mortuary professional, checking in! 🪦

It's not uncommon to bury cremains (ashes), but more times than not, people will scatter them in a designated remembrance area, or keep them within home.
u/Outrageous-Being869 • 4 weeks ago • score 14
Yes people bury ashes. Its important to still give them a resting spot to many. Its a rite and a cultural thing for some. Do I believe this applies to her? No. But others yes. Do I think she is scamming? Yes.
u/Relative_Variation25 • 4 weeks ago • score -1
Is he buried yet? She still says he's not and I'm really confused
u/perfect_fifths • 4 weeks ago • score 5
you can inter it into a wall at a cemetary.
u/PanhandlersPets • 4 weeks ago • score 5
We put my father in law in a columbarium. Then the military just adds his name to it with everyone else's. That way there's somewhere in the cemetery to visit.
u/CampbellKitty • 4 weeks ago • score 3
Sorry for your loss.
u/PanhandlersPets • 4 weeks ago • score 3
Thank you. We had a long time to accept it and grieve before it happened. My husband seems pretty ok.
u/misssi79 • 4 weeks ago • score 3
She said another family member had their ashes buried and Mamachu wants pedochus ashes buried. She says she doesnt want to go against her mother's wishes. Which is funny because I'm sure Mamachu also wants her to get a job, have a stable place, and be hygienic but she doesn't seem interested in those wishes. It's just a pity party to scam yet again

Historically, very few cultures kept cremated remains in a home or other place. The were either scattered, usually as a symbolic act of either freeing the soul or returning to the earth, or else entombed. It was generally forbidden for Christians until relatively recently (and was even used as a punishment in some cases), but even where it’s allowed, it’s often required or at least urged to entomb or bury the ashes in consecrated ground, like in the Code of Canon Law or 1983.

Obviously, this isn’t universal and there are a lot of modern ways of handling remains.

Most cultures still view cremated remains  the same as a body, which makes what Tophia’s lack of care and respect even more disturbing.
u/housewife420 • 4 weeks ago • score 45
Any normal family that can’t afford this would opt to just go scatter the ashes somewhere. You can just tell by how entitled they are to ppl’s money that they have never had to work for a thing in life and she barely had anything at all which is so crazy to me. Tophia really thinks she is going to live the rest of her life on cash app donations and GFM.

Any normal family would make do with what they could afford. My dad passed when I was younger and didn’t have a great career yet so me and my brother opted to cremate him and scatter some ashes/keep some in an urn and some necklaces. My dad always said cremation was fine with him anyway. When my mom passed i was older and had a good job and actual savings, etc. even though it’s ridiculous my mom was terrified of cremation (even tho she’d be passed on anyway lol) and wanted to be buried in the family plot with her parents. Thankfully I was able to honor her wishes but if I wasn’t I’d have to make do with cremation for her as well. U do what u gotta do especially if the person had no life insurance. As long as it’s respectful who cares?
u/housewife420 • 4 weeks ago • score 7
Of course. You do what you can and you honor your loved one. You don’t let them sit for 6 months and expect strangers to help. All this on top of the fact that she already got money from the state to do cremation and funeral service. That’s what most families do and it was already covered but they don’t have any shame to ask for more. She PMO!!
u/CampbellKitty • 4 weeks ago • score 4
It's totally just unfettered greed and entitlement.
u/flippermode • 4 weeks ago • score 2

u/Select_Medium5147 • 4 weeks ago • score 9
I think u are misunderstanding what she’s saying. I don’t think there’s anything set in stone at all she just had to give a date just to have it on the books. Cause she can’t just waddle into the funeral parlor on a random day and say she has the cash let’s bury these cig ashes.
u/Stunning-Wing-3623 • 3 weeks ago • score 1

u/PanhandlersPets • 4 weeks ago • score 2
What are they going to bury? Did anyone claim his remains? We are way past the deadline to claim them.
u/Independent-Swan1508 • 4 weeks ago • score 1
was that his wish or something? why she keep insisting that she HAS to get him cremated AND buried like she can't just keep his ashes? or go to a place and spread his ashes? it's also been months why she still putting this off.

u/Oireex • 4 weeks ago • score 2
Im gonna lose my mind if anyone donates. Not only has he been dead for months but she has yet to pick up his ashes. How in the world are you going to raise money for a burial when you cant even show up for an urn? What.

As horrifying as this seems, if she gets the remains, she’ll very likely lose them and come online to complain about trolls stealing the ashes.

Also, I think she should be more lowkey about this burial. Some people are messed up enough to do weird things at his grave, so she shouldn’t be broadcasting her plans.
