Tbh, Tophia will never change. She wished death on strangers and abused her dog or killed her. She even said she wouldn't cry if her mom died! She won't use the funds for her brothers funeral. That's obvious, I mean, she didn't even use the donations for rent money and instead used it on comic con or BTS or whatever. I think people wanted this to be a wake-up call and give tophia grace, but unfortunately, we will have to see... I feel bad for Marie, not Tophia, but I wish her no harm

Right, I think whatever goodwill she got from the public will die down eventually. She prolly thinks she’ll be getting donations forever from now on, but ppl will either forget about her or lose their sympathies, cuz of her behaviour

I took a break from following tophia around the time Hershey disappeared so I missed out on that chapter - what ever happened to her?? Did she just run away? Was Hershey living in the car with them at any point? Does anyone know where she is now? Sorry for all the questions, I’ve just never found a clear answer as to what happened to her :(

Tophia claims Hershey was attacked by in her words “a big BLACK pit bull” and ran away because she was scared

Tophia claimed that the dog ran away after being attacked by a bigger dog, but it has also come to light that when papachu wasn't coming out of his apartment when police try to het him to come out they tear gassed the whole apartment, tophia knew this beforehand and instead of grabbing the dog she just grabbed her stuff. Poor Hershey was stuck in the apartment for 14 hrs while there was tear gas everywhere

I can see her using them in the cheapest way possible. Like, she’ll probably claim she needs thousands for regular funeral, coffin, etc., but will then get him cremated instead. There’s nothing wrong that, but it’s definitely the cheapest option, and I just know that she’s going to try to do it the cheapest way possible so she can keep as much of the donations she can for whatever else.

Very well said. Just because we feel bad for Tophia and her situation doesn’t mean we condemn the horrible things she said, clearly they’re no better than Tophia when they go on the “It should’ve been her!” rant. Those people lack so much empathy it’s insane, they should not have access to the internet. Trust me, I’ve said some rude stuff about Tophia but where we draw the line is wishing death on her.

don’t understand why anyone is down voting lol. we can all agree people saying it was her fault and it should’ve been her are nasty nasty people, i do not like tophia’s attitude at all, but she’s clearly grieving, why would anyone expect her to change for the better?

I think it’s people that are behind hidden accounts that actually support the hate that she’s receiving right now. I did used to have a theory that many people didn’t actually care about the bad things that Sophia was doing, and they just kind of liked the idea of being able to harass someone without any accountability because anyone that does hold them accountable are called “tophia defenders”. Even people right now that are in the Reddit chat are being called defenders simply because they are showing her grace and empathy right now while still holding her accountable. Overall, it just shows hypocrisy and that people don’t care about d*ath threats, and that this whole entire time they had ulterior motives.

Toph is always going to be this way. She's going to squander the sympathy and just go on to lead an even worse life now that brotherchu isn't around to shoulder the family burdens.
She's not getting a job, she's not going to put her mother's health first once she's released from the hospital. She's just going to be living an even worse lifestyle than before now that she will be wandering around Albuquerque during the day trying to steam and then heading to a shelter at night to complain about the free food.
