He’s also exploited real-life tragedies for personal gain. For years, he used the shooting of Zack Hussein at a pizza shop in Akron, Ohio to sympathy bait and make money off the tragedy through merchandise and music sales.
It’s the same pattern over and over—stealing, scamming, and sympathy-baiting whenever he needs a distraction.
His criminal record goes way back. In 2012, he was arrested for strangling and beating his grandmother when she refused to let him walk to Kansas to meet an online catfish. Anyone who knows anything about Chance shouldn’t be surprised by this at all. He has a long history of using tragedies to distract people from the fact that he’s a predator.
A few years ago, when Marty showed up at his house (after Chance himself challenged him to a fight and invited him over), what did Chance do? He refused to come outside, shut off all the lights, and sent out his elderly grandmother and stepfather to handle it for him—while he hid inside, lol.
Then, after a shooting in Akron where a child was injured, Chance immediately jumped online and tried to twist the situation for sympathy—claiming those bullets were meant for him, not the child. Seriously?
This is just what he does. He will shamelessly exploit other people’s grief and tragedies just to shift focus away from himself. It’s selfish, it’s manipulative, and it’s textbook Chance Wilkins.
