Anyone else stressed at the prospect of Tophia being Marie’s caregiver?
First off medically, gun shot wounds for already immune repressed Individuals are NO FUCKING JOKE..Even young and healthy people in a sterile hospital environment struggle to keep it clean and healing properly, pair that with Marie’s advance age, whatever shelter or street they’re on, they are cooked. Not only that Marie will need assistance in the washroom and with feeding and basic hygiene. Tophia is literally incapable of doing this for herself so how the fuck is she supposed to do this for Marie? You know what happens to older people whose immune systems are shot when they aren’t wiped properly? Skin Irritation and Infection:

Tophia shouldn’t have Marie at all. She couldn’t even take care of her before all of this happened. She had her mother running around pissing herself while her diapers were in storage. She didn’t want to go to comic con, but Tophia forced her too and she ended up being stuck in the bathroom.
There was a time where Marie wanted to buy toilet paper, only to be yelled at by Tophia who said they needed to save money. (She ended up buying pizza instead) Marie was shot in the head/neck area, she needs to be somewhere safe. Far away from her daughter.

Im deeply concerned over the wound treatment for Marie after she gets out of the hospital. Right now, Tophia is staying in a motel and if Marie gun shot wound still needs treatment (most likely), there is no way that Tophia could possibly keep up with the treatment of wound care. A home health nurse wouldn't be able to visit Marie since they would be in a motel when Marie gets discharged. Also like what you said, Marie is immunocompromised. Her wound is going to take longer to heal on top of her age. If it becomes infected, it could be so dangerous. I really hope Tophia considered a rehab facility for Marie. This would help Marie gain strength and give Tophia time to get a stable environment to properly care for Marie.

My only hope is social services at the hospital is involved and will realize Tophia is not capable of caring for her mother and will engage adult protective services. Marie is no angel, but she doesn’t deserve to suffer and rot at the hands of her ignorant, selfish daughter just after losing her son.

Tophia, you have proven time and time again that you're extremely neglectful of any living being in your care, and you are entirely self-serving at any expense! A part of me wishes I was related! I'd be there so fast and demanding I'd have power of attorney! If it was my mother, I 👏🏽 WOULD 👏🏽 BE 👏🏽 MOVING 👏🏽 MY 👏🏽 ASS to make sure EVERYTHING is taken care of!!!! I would not play about my own mother AND STAY OFF OF THE FUCKING INTERNET!!!

If tophia was smart she’d let Marie go to a home until she’s in a healthier state and they have housing but we know that the won’t happen. Marie is also very scared and traumatized and tophia cannot be helped to even stay by her poor mother’s side in a time where Marie really needs her… tophia is still too busy blaming the internet and doomscrolling while her poor mother is hurt and going through it.
