is there any resources available for tophia in the mean time? with mamachu in the hospital and getting treated, tophia is all alone with obviously nowhere to go. this is horrible

Considering Mamachu’s age and condition, she may be transferred to a nursing/rehab facility. If they’re homeless and vulnerable, Social Work would get involved and place the mom where she needs to be and hook them up with some sort of government assistance if they don’t have any already. As far as Tophia goes, hopefully they can help her get placed at a shelter where, after valid mourning and bereavement, can eventually look into employment. Mourning is different for everyone and I pray for Tophia and her mom. Losing a loved one at such a young age is soooo tragic. He was the only one who seemed to be the provider for them and now he’s gone..

From what I’ve discovered just now because I wasn’t aware of this beforehand, I asked people who kept saying this they all sent the same lolcow video that never confirmed. The evidence shown was a Snapchat screenshot of messages with a 15 year old that didn’t show any a concrete connection to him. They went off a model of phone and color of phone case that was similar but not identical. Was this all the evidence? I can’t find anything else on this matter.

This is the story I could gather from the news, Albuquerque residents, and Tophia’s own account:
The carjacker was already on the run from the police and had crashed his own car already, so he set his sights on the Chus’ car., Donald, Marie, and Tophia presumably asleep at the time when the thief forced his way in the car and pushed Tophia out. Donald fought back/refused to leave even when threatened, so the man shot him. He then drove off, with Marie still in the back seat.
The shooter died when the police caught up to him and shot him dead; and sadly, Marie was hit in the process by mistake. Marie survived. Donald did not.

She flat out mocked all of the people telling her this was going to happen, that it was too dangerous for her to stay in the car in that specific area, and that her constant livestreaming her location was a neon sign for thieves. Furthermore, her brother kinda caused this. They weren't shot during the carjacking, they were shot after a long high speed chase and at least two separate gunfights. The carjacker apparently sped off and Brotherchu went after him, exchanging gunfire. And knowing how trigger happy the asshole was, he very well may have shot first. He did this with his family right there in the car, without a single thought given to their lives or any innocent bystanders who could have been nearby.

Listening to her cry ripped me up inside, this is just so fucking horrific. She saw her own brother die right in front of her and even though mamachus condition is stable, it doesn’t mean that she’s okay. Mamachu has been very ill for a long time and getting worse each passing day, if she doesn’t succumb to the injuries sustained from this event or whatever it is that makes her cough like that, I fear that the stress of losing her son will end up giving her a heart attack. Alright I just read the most recent ABQ Raw update that is about an hour old, here is the break down:
Suspect crashed a car (probably already stolen) near the Chumobile. In the process of stealing the Chumobile, Brotherchu and Mamachu were shot. Brotherchu is confirmed deceased, Mamachu is confifrmed in stable condition. Tophia is unharmed physically. Suspect stole the car with Brotherchu and Mamachu inside, and then crashed it nearby into another vehicle. That person saw what was happening and a security guard from a nearby apartment complex went to see what was happening and shot the suspect.
That's an absolute tragedy, there is an ABQ raw video on YouTube with police answering questions.

This poor woman omg. I don’t like her nor approve of her actions but this is horrible. Her mom is in the hospital, Donald Jr gone and her dad has been arrested again.
