i lowkey need to share my thoughts somewhere because i’ve been following the slydells for years now, all the way back to the covid days and i have never witnessed something so genuinely nightmarish in my entire life. from getting kicked out of their apartment, to motel hopping, papachu’s mental state resulting in him going in and out of jail, hershey running away, the people online who kept doxxing her, her wiretapping her entire day to day, the depression, having to live in a car, and now this?

the fact that it was a freak accident based on the selfishness of a fleeing individual with a warrant, who happened to pass by the slydell car inconveniently parked at the wrong place at the wrong time makes this all more surreal. the description of his passing was horrendous, i wouldn’t know how to live with myself if i saw my brother get shot in the head in front of me

i really do hope that she and her mom can recover in the hospital for the time being, and that some psychiatric help is provided for her. tophia, with all her flaws, needs serious mental help immediately. albeit incredibly lazy and offensive on lives, this was a woman born in a situation that was set up to fail her. not saying that everyone born into a family like hers wouldn’t be able to find their footing on their own, but she seems to have fully given up on life since the last couple of months before the eviction. there’s no motivation, ambition, or drive within her, and it’s really sad to see people remarking jr’s passing as a wishful turning point in tophias life. homelessness is a dangerous thing especially for women, she needs help and her mother needs serious medical attention

yeah its kind of crazy to see people say "hopefully this will make her realize something has got to change and be better" bro she just witnessed a murder and thought her mom was dead... not really sure what people are expecting from her right now. if i saw whatever she saw i don't think i'd want a job for decades

  that's not the point. Assuming she actually is in stable condition and makes it through, Mamachu is going to NEED Tophia - regardless of what that entails. And for her own sake, Tophia is clearly going to need Mamachu at the same time, because those are the unfortunate terms of their codependent existence. That's just the harsh reality.
  
  When I commented on this originally, I didn't say Tophia needs to rest up for a few days and then head out to start lifting sheet rock. I said the same thing I'm saying here. I HOPE this sparks SOMETHING in Tophia that helps her to make some necessary long term changes for both of their sakes. And there's nothing wrong with that mentality.

    it’s slightly bleak however that it took a death for her to potentially (i say because who knows) realise that she cant play the role of modern day diogenes and sit to critique the system. she definitely has to get up and work, shes going to be 31 soon. her mental state in general seems to be incredibly lethargic because any normal individual wouldve had a wake up call when they were two months behind in rent

      and i'm literally not even saying, let's all get right back to trolling and saying she needs to get a job - which is so odd to even type because telling someone they need a job is objectively NOT a bad thing. I realize it might seem that way. No - what I am saying...Brotherchu is gone. As far as I'm aware, he was the only one keeping things together. And with Mamachu *quite literally getting shot*...SOMEONE is going to need to step up. AND, well...I hope Tophia can figure out a way to.

no fr, i’ve never felt such a sense of dread for someone i don’t even know. if i lost my brother like that i would lose my mind - i genuinely do not know how tophia will cope with everything happening in her life. her brother was the only one actively trying to provide for them.
