My thoughts exactly; people say not to bring up his past, but when did this dude become the exception for pedophiles? He made this the past that people will come to know him for the most. That's not anyone's fault but his. It's unfortunate that he got caught in such a terrible situation along with the entire family, however trying to just flat out ignore it to be sympathetic is gross. I am not going to feel bad for a guy whose a known weirdo that even had a p-diddy joke written on the back of the car he loved so much.

I was a victim of CSA by a family member when I was 3-5 years old. I eventually told my mom and that man ended up in prison and he died in prison when I was in college.
His fate was determined by a jury and he got, in my opinion, what he deserved
A man is dead of random violence and weirdos like you are still like, “Well he deserved it because he…” Listen. That’s not how this works. There’s a reason justice isn’t determined by an angry mob of reddit snark snub users. This family did not deserve this. Period.

The way people talk about pedophilia online is so fucking weird and performative. I said, “I don’t think this man deserved to literally be shot in the head while sleeping” and you ghouls are like “Oh so you love when kids get assaulted?” Jesus Christ you guys are freaks.
“This man dying before he could ever touch anyone” like what do I even say to that? How do I talk to someone saying a man is guilty of a crime you acknowledge he didn’t commit?

I’m glad that you found closure in his prosecution, but respectfully, that doesn’t mean everyone has to share the same sentiment as you.
There was an infamous case in the 90s, I believe, where a man who raped a child was on his way to court or something and the father of the victim shot him point blank. Are you telling me that, that man is not valid in his reaction and actions just because you wouldn’t want that? Let’s also not forget the court system has let victims down time and time again and let these people walk free or give em a minimum sentence all the time.
I was also sexually abused by a family member from when I was 9 to about 14. I never got my day in court cos family simply didn’t care cos I’m a male and was already perceived as gay when I was child so they didn’t see it as a big deal. He actually got shot back in 2021 twice and died on his way to the hospital. Are you telling me I’m not allowed to be nonchalant or even care that he died? I’m supposed to have empathy because “no one deserves to go out like that that’s what the legal system is for”? Who are YOU to determine that?
Anyway, regardless of all that, he wasn’t killed because of his past (although I wouldn’t be surprised if a family member of the victims would’ve ran up on him one day), but we don’t have to hold any kind of sympathy or empathy for him because he’s a predator and an abuse. And guess what? That’s okay.

I didn’t care when my abuser died either. I never forgave him. I’m not saying anyone should feel any sort of way about the people that abuse them. I only bring it up because I have a VERY personal stake in child sexual abuse cases and I don’t talk about pedophilia cavalierly because the topic is very triggering for me.
What I said was that the punishment for a man who allegedly texted a 15 year old girl isn’t an execution style shot to the head in front of his family. I think it’s a horrible way to die. If he were to have seen a day in court for those texts, he maybe would’ve gotten 1-2 years in prison and his name on a list.
I also curdle at the knee-jerk reaction to calling anyone who says “this was a horrible way to die” a pedophile sympathizer. It’s a really easy way to shut people down around complicated and difficult subjects. I’ve built my entire life around protecting people from abuse. I’m also a pacifist and a strong believer in fairness and justice. The world just isn’t this black and white.
I have no love for the man. I’m not defending his actions. I’m just… shocked? by the bloodlust for this guy. I find it barbaric. If I’m responding a lot it’s because I’m grappling with how people pounced on this tragedy like greedy little wolverines. So many people lose their humanity when it comes to “lolcows”.

As for the domestic abuse, his ex (Angie) accused him of hitting her. This was later confirmed by mamachu, when in an attempt to defend him , said "He may have hit Angie but she hit him too" or smt along the lines

He has been caught numerous times messaging minors, beat up his ex and got arrested for it, stalked/harassed her afterwards and vandalized her car, and doxxed/harassed a few other people. Out of anybody to feel bad for, it's not him.

Around February(?) his phone got stolen and someone posted pictures of his Snapchat where brotherchu lied about his age, claiming he was 15 whilst talking to a 13yo. That's the incident the "Mrs.Hereshy" flair is referring too. Before passing, it was also found out that he was actively talking to a 18yo, who was still in high school; IIRC some even found the poor girls softball game logs to show that she was indeed in high school. I'm not sure about the domestic abuse allegations.
