I'm three days late, but things don't have to be black and white like this. You can feel bad when something awful happens to a bad person, especially when it ripples through a community and a family.
Be honest. Even if he wasn't a pedophile— a claim which I have personally seen 0 evidence of— and even if Tophiachu wasn't an ebeggar, people would still mock the family relentlessly. They did before anything came out about them.
I'm not excusing his actions, but we all know that's not why all of this is happening. People like to bother someone like Tophia who they know will react every time. These flimsy "well she did this and he did this" excuses don't justify literal years of harassment. It's taken someone being murdered for people to begin realizing this.
Have some empathy.
