How is tophia getting around?

Are places in NM within walking distance? I remember seeing a post of her walking outside awhile back but now she has no car and walking is her only option. The homeless shelter is her most likely option for her living situation atm but how will she even get Marie to the shelter? Or herself for that matter? I guess she could take public transportation but I’m not familiar with the system over there. Also the likely hood she would even get her drivers license is slim considering she had all these years to get it.

        yeah i distinctly remember her complaining about being made to help out around the shelter while on live one time. she could have been making it up but i wouldn't be surprised if that was another issue for her 😭

  With Marie in the hospital and all her separate health issues, wouldn't they have a social worker with her to try to get her in assisted living? I don't think her being stuck in a shelter with Tophia would do her health any better. If anything I feel like it would just kill her faster

      That is fair. At the end of the day, unless they can decide that she is truly incapable of making her own decisions (which she probably won't be deemed that way), they can't force her to do anything

    They will most likely want her to go to skilled nursing for a few weeks which she will not want bec “my dotter will take damn well good care of me” and she will go to a shelter bec she doesn’t want big azzz to be alone
