I think Tophia might be an age regressor but she just doesn’t know it.

This might be a little far fetched but the way she spends her money on child-like things like toys, disney stuff, merch with childhood logo’s combined with every outburst she’s ever had ( mainly the one where she says “im a teenager i don’t have to get a job”), really makes me think she’s regressing/ trying to put her childhood back together. My reasoning for this is because when she was young, she didn’t really get to experience being a child since she’s been in and out of homeless shelters since the beginning. I feel like whenever she has money she just buys things “little tophia” would have wanted. But then again she could just be stupid and sentient that she’s dragging her family down with her.

No I agree, it’s sad. Like she’s unaware she’s using that as a “coping” mechanism.

I agree, I don’t see nearly enough people talking about how she is 100% and enabler and responsible for her and her family’s way of living

I 100% agree, even though I hate Tophia it’s rlly sad to see that she never got to have a normal childhood. Everyone deserves a childhood.

I do agree, and parents are the ones to blame.

BTW, when she said "I'm a teenager blah blah..." she was telling a past story.

she often says she’s a teenager regardless if she’s telling a past story

I’ve always thought this. In her own words she still thinks she “looks like she could be in her teens” and along the silly graphic tees and the bandannas in the shape of a bow, she tries to look younger than she is. A very immature person.

sometimes i actually feel bad for tophia she’s had a bad childhood and i think she barley had friends as much as i don’t like her everyone deserves a happy childhood

I think she might just be developmentally delayed + just grew up in an unstable environment which resulted in her poor decision making. Which I do feel bad for, I don’t even think her reckless spending is a coping mechanism for her poor childhood I see it as she finally has access to these things and has always posted/fantasised about having makeup, jewellery and other “cool” things.

agreed! Not an excuse for it, but I think it’s part of the reason she tries to befriend and follow minors—because she wishes she could be one.

As someone who has a job and wasn’t very fortunate when they were younger, I can agree to this. I do the exact same thing, I buy things small me would’ve loved as a kid, but I also take care of my responsibilities first. In a way I do feel for her a tiny bit just because I went through a similar upbringing; but she desperately needs to get a job and help her family.
