There’s so many other places that you could donate to and have the money go to a good, deserving cause. Donate to the Albuquerque Humane Society in his or Hersheys name. RAINN. The local Food Bank. Homeless Shelter. Meals on Wheels. It doesn’t have to be that family for your money to do some good in his name.

Exactly! Tophia needs a social worker, a therapist and a life coach mentor. She is not responsible with money or mentally capable of foreseeing month to month. She lives day to day and thinks “ well I had the money, and all my bills were paid” not realizing life throws you curve balls and you need a savings and bills are reoccurring and they will also be their next week, next month and just because you have extra money doesn’t mean you blow it on CDs, thrift hauls, door dash, and shit she doesn’t need

i've been trying to get a case manager for myself for a while now but it's been really difficult. hopefully things are easier for her in new mexico but i haven't heard great things about the resources in albuquerque and yeah with the current administration too it's worrisome.

You’re absolutely right! I hope APS steps in and puts Marie in an assisted living facility, so she can heal properly, eat and finally for once take care of herself. I know Marie will kick and scream not to go, cause she won’t want to leave tophia all alone, especially now after losing her son. Most likely Marie will be sent to a Rehab Facility” for awhile until she gains her strength. Tophia will be in her own for awhile.

Even with this in mind, I don't believe Marie is going to be in a position to access that account for some time. If you want to circumvent Tophia herself (understandable, I suppose), I've seen posts from people in that car-meet community about raising funds--I believe there was a specific tattoo parlour that was donating profits, you could reach out to them to see where the funds are going perhaps.

I just know how tophia is with money. She is not mentally capable of handling funds. She has a child like complex. She only thinks of “today” and now. She needs a life coach a mentor. I completely agree with you, I was just speaking on some ppl that were already back to calling her disrespectful names and completing dogging on her. Idk if its bc they were just waiting to start talking again or if its a coping mechanism so they don’t have to feel bad about how they contributed to going above and beyond bullying her before this tragedy happened. I also think its ironic the same ppl calling every else “tophia defenders” for being logical throughout the years are now upset due to being called “tophia defenders” for logical during this time are now upset. Yes it’s okay to not like her, I’m just a little confused how ppl think the harsh words they’re saying right now will ever compete with the lost of a sibling and a mom that got shot.
