I’m a therapist and can confirm, I work late but not that late and I know of zero providers that are, except hospitals. Also most times therapists work in conjunction with psychiatrists or psych nurses for care, so she probably would have had those resources available

If she was diagnosed, the dr would have referred her to a list of therapists (source: life experience). With mental health issues, psychiatrist dont just diagnose you and then say " ok good luck byeeee!"

I believe they send you a list of therapists upon request...
Because I was diagnosed by a PNP, and she saw I was seeing a college therapist and she knew my time with her was limited.... but she never referred me elsewhere.

I was diagnosed by a PNP.
She didnt refer me elsewhere since I was already seeing a therapist.
The PNP also did not provide me with any documents until I had to email a request for them, if I didnt... she wasnt going to give them to me.
On her documents though she did recommend therapy and psych meds.

She’s just convinced that a diagnosis will somehow make her laziness more valid and that now she’ll be exempt from work and get a free house 😭😭
sadly that is not how the world works. A lot of us deal with depression (we were actually diagnosed with by a doctor) and guess what? We still have to be productive adults 🤷🏻♀️ there are people much worse off who still go to work too. She’s just lazy and has zero work ethic which amazes me. I’ve never come across someone this goddamn lazy. She has no ounce of self preservation either lol. She’d rather rot away in a car or shelter than try to better her situation.

To her credit therapists are not the only ones able to provide diagnoses. She could have been seen by a psychiatrist or something of that sort. However, I doubt a psychiatrist would diagnose her at 10 pm on a Sunday night lol
