-When someone shares a link from Tik Tok and you click on it, Tik Tok will tell that person you opened their link and show them your account.

To turn off this very annoying feature go to:

The 3 lines in the top right corner of your profile—> Settings and privacy—> Privacy—> Suggest your account to others

-Sign up for a VPN. There are so many options and most are only a few bucks a month.

-Unless you are creating a brand, don’t use the same username across all socials and don’t put any identifying information in your bios.

Or just save the tik tok and post it. I hate having to open tik tok then go back on Reddit.

  Nobody is scared of showing their identity. However internet safety in general is important to keep in mind. If you do not care and it doesn’t apply to you, please scroll to the next post.
