im guessing that it may vary a ton by the type of machine so its probably hard to tell what it is?? this is a different alarm from the other videos so i hope marie is ok cuz thats so fking disturbing if tophia making videos while her mom is literally unable to breathe or some shit in the background????😭🙏🏽🙏🏽

Theres a second patient in this room too apparently or its a room that just holds two patients in general, like she has no fucking regards for other people. I dont wanna even bring any type of negativity around in that environment bc even if marie cant HEAR her complaining, you can clearly feel and see when someone's angry or upset..

The leads on those monitors can be sensitive. The right amount of pressure or slight movement can send them into a tailspin. As a nurse; I hate those damn things. But not as much as I hate family members who sit in patient rooms yapping instead of letting their family member rest.

Is this alarm usually for sleep apnea in your experience? Marie already has breathing issues so it must be way easier for it to go off :((

I listened to the audio in real time (the version posted here is sped up therefore making the alarm sound faster). It’s the leads that monitor heart rate and respiration, if the leads taped to her chest are loose or the connection to the pulse ox on her finger are loose it or if they have her positioned a certain way it will cause the numbers to look like they’re low and create a false alarm. Trust that a nurse would come in to check and make sure nothing was really wrong and turn the alarm off. Problem is the alarms cannot be permanently shut off so they will sound again…and again…and again!

I assume the nurses would be extra careful w marie after she had such a terrible injury too. I dont think i could be as rational abt it as a non medical professional if i was in tophias shoes though😭 id be shitting bricks each time the nurses come in LOL

my nurses have always been super sweet lol i feel bad that they gotta deal w tophia, she literally sht on the floor on purpose and smiled while telling the story abt how the nurses had to deal w it.

She’s so toxic it’s as if she intentionally wants to infect everyone around her with her negative energy, it’s diabolical. I genuinely hope she gets asked to leave, because we can already see how comfortable she is squatting at the hospital. There’s a chair, an outlet to charge her phone, and probably using their Wi-fi too. Why spend money on a motel when she can stay there for free? She has everything she needs there 😡

My partner was recently in the hospital for several weeks. The machine that dispensed whatever medicine was in his IV at any given time would begin beeping out of nowhere because the machine thought the IV bag was empty when it wasn’t. It was so obnoxious. So, it may actually be pretty benign. If it was something super serious, I’m sure bells would’ve been going off at the nurses station, and there would be a whole bevy of people in there trying to find out what’s wrong.

If I was the second patient in the room I would actually tell her to shut the fuck up 😭 she is so unbearable and unaware of her surroundings. Marie is trying to recover and heal and there is probably another patient in the room. I can’t with her omg
I genuinely cannot imagine doing any of this while my mother was in such a state. Just loved ones recovering from surgery at home made me feel anxious about disturbing them or hyperaware of them being in pain or needing something.
