Yes, this is very basic to say but I feel like a lot of people (especially on the internet) lack common decency. Tophia may not be the best person on Earth and her (as well as her family members) may be involved in a lot of controversy as well. However, Tophia just went through an extremely life changing event that will have an effect on her for as long as she lives. She suddenly lost her brother, her mother is injured and in the hospital and she currently has nowhere to go. I don’t even know how I would navigate life right now if I was in her position, or if I’d have the will to keep living.

My point is to think about if this situation was happening to you. How would you want someone to treat you if your brother was unalived and your mother got injured in a tragic circumstance? It costs $0 to treat Tophia with respect and at least do the absolute bare minimum of human decency of treating her with respect. This isn’t about her past scandals or even whatever her future wrong doings are, it’s about being a human being with a soul.
