It looks like Papachu is being released under his own recognizance ONCE AGAIN 🫣
Judge Estrada has been catching and releasing him since 2022 smh. Maybe a Tophia and Papachu reunion now???

And Tophia is still going to blame the internet

If the court doesn't realize that he already needs professional help, then idk. They should really put him in a facility where he can be medicated and get back on his feet. There's no point in catching and releasing him if you're never gonna try and help him if he's clearly not all there.
-
Yeah ikr thats fucked up. He needs more help than tophia and marie.
-
Nothing would stop him from going off his meds once out
-
True! But there is also nobody that’s gonna prohibit him from taking his medication, aka Tophia
-
No but schizophrenia is a difficult disorder. Sometimes, (and this isn’t always but some of the time) the paranoia means they won’t trust anything like meds because they believe it poison due to their delusion.
I don’t want talk out of my butt, so I’ll let the facts speak. This has been studied.

Adherence will depend on many factors like social support, attitude about medication to begin with, etc.he has no support and is unlikely to succeed unless maybe he can get visiting care. He could benefit from a social worker.

They probably do try to help him somewhat. But if u refuse the help they won’t force u. I’ve been to prison when I was younger cause I was a fucking idiot and one of my best friends from home was in the mental health unit and that’s how it was there.

i hope this question isn’t offensive but how has he not been institutionalized??
-
No this is a valid question
-
our system is not set up to help the mentally ill and mostly just lets them go in and out of jail til they die on the streets.
the police also don’t know how to handle someone having a mental health crisis. it’s pathetic.
-
I was wondering the same thing, but unfortunately I have a feeling that unless he does something really bad to someone, they can’t keep him. I’m not familiar with laws, but it seems like people need to be seriously hurt or killed in order for something to happen
-
i don't think it is offensive honestly
-
I was worried because of the connotations of the word “institutionalized”, I know in the past people with disabilities were in institutions and i’m pretty sure he is mentally unwell so I didn’t want to come off too rude

Here’s a better screenshot for those who want to repost. Both case numbers have been changed to Release on Recognizance. So he will be released today if he hasn’t been so already.

-
jeez that mugshot is brutal, papachu reminds me of daniel larson
-
How long until he goes back, do you think? I say less than 2 weeks. This judge needs to be disbarred smh
-
-
Now the family can reunite and they'll go claim Brotherchu's ashes and give him a proper burial!
-
Good morning sleepy head! How was that dream 😂
-
-
Tbh he's safer locked up then out on the streets
-
I wonder if this is happening because he’s been medicated during his hold….as soon as he is out and has no meds, he will go back to what he has been doing…
-
They have got to at some point admit him to state. He has such a long history of substance and mental health concerns that it’s really cruel to release him every single time. They just won’t even try and stabilize him long enough. And yes I know the funds are low, but for cases like him, they usually make exceptions. He’s a clear danger to himself and others.
-
Look at his mugshot???? He doesn’t need to be released. Keep him locked up 😫
-
This is actually sad because this is the cause of his mental illness, which is out of his control
-
He needs to be institutionalized.
-
anyone know what his drug of choice is
He's going to mess with the wrong person one day and he's going to be killed. It's only a matter of time.
