      They said two people including the suspect were dead, which means either Jr *or* Marie were killed. I’m guessing it was Jr because Tophia said he looked like he passed and she said Marie went to the hospital if I remember correctly. God this is awful

            im not saying this isn’t tragic but this is the reality of so many undereducated people in poverty. being homeless is extremely dangerous and difficult, and that coupled with the current wave of violence because the lack of jobs, economic security, and underfunded schools, there are just as many violent crime perpetrators who are doing these crimes as a means to survive. this happens everyday to homeless people across the country, tophia’s situation was just documented.
