It would have changed a lot. First of all a mother is supposed to be truthful and teach us to know our limits and expect to lose at things then move on to other things to find your talents in life. That’s what I did with my kids. One wanted to go to art school and while she drew very well I knew she wouldn’t make it. She was upset back then but understands now as an adult. Marie enabled Tophia all the time.

I fully believe she has something going on, a genetic disorder. I also believe she’s capable of getting and holding a job, taking a shower, etc. her mom telling her that the haters are jealous just makes her believe she’s really an influencer. She needs to learn, just because you say it, it doesn’t make it true. A $400 check from tiktok, and it being from donations, isn’t an influencer and it doesn’t make her having a stable job. For the first few hours I think we all held out some small shred of hope that this would be the end of the madness and old girl would realize it’s time to get her life together and get off the streets and OFF SOCIAL MEDIA. She proved us all really wrong in less than 24 hours after watching her brother die. She’s done nothing but spew the trauma and grieving rhetoric she’s seen the sympathizers (aka enablers) write for her. NONE of the shit she’s said about her trauma and grieving process is an original thought. She’s pulled all that shit from the comment sections here and on TT. Those fools created an even bigger monster who will now think her entire life will be funded by them. Because let’s keep it real, old Toph thinks this money being donated is gonna last forever.

The fact that they frequented the library and most libraries hold some type of workshop for job assistance, resume/interview workshops, housing resources and she never entertained any of it just really shows how much she dgaf and never will. She turned her nose up to all of it but sat her sloppy ass on TikTok while Marie fought to keep her lung down in the background. Even now, she still can’t put the phone down. Honestly, if she had any kind of sense after everything that’s happened she should want to leave New Mexico. NM being “all they know” isn’t an excuse.
