Let’s stop trying to place blame
To clarify, the shooting incident was a random carjacking unrelated to anyone from the Internet. People need to stop distorting the narrative to align with their own agendas.
Earlier, I partially blamed a specific group from a certain app due to their history with Tophia. However, upon obtaining more information, I retract those statements. This wasn’t a premeditated attack, and I don’t want to contribute to any misinformation. Nevertheless, this situation shouldn’t be dismissed lightly.
Admittedly, the individuals on THAT APP have engaged in dangerous, obsessive, and disturbing behaviors in the past. While they may not be responsible for this particular incident, their actions and statements toward Tophia have crossed serious boundaries. Some of their words and actions were never acceptable, and many people need to take a step back and reflect on how far they’ve allowed Internet drama to influence their behavior.
Ultimately, not every incident is a grand conspiracy or an Internet-fueled revenge plot. Sometimes, unfortunate events simply occur. However, this doesn’t mean we should ignore the broader conversation about the extent to which people are willing to go over trivial online disagreements.

Totally agree with you.
I’ve had my share of making fun of her and the families antics but “that app” takes it way too far, and are extremely unhinged. I hope that the main people behind posting the threads and death wishes will take accountability.
This is just horrible and I hope that Marie and Tophia gets the help and support they need.

We should prolly not take Tophia's tragedy and make it all about your own petty fights with other internet strangers but that's just my opinion on the matter
