That’s not uncommon. I’m pretty sure there were studies that showed that people who exercised ended up eating more because they overestimated how many calories they burned. Obviously, the takeaway from this should be keep track of what you’re eating, but I’m sure Tophia would turn it into “see? The gym makes you gain weight’

TOPHIA,,,,,,That’s why it’s good to drink a protein shake afterwards. Fills you up and the empty feeling from burning all those calories leaves. You have to have it ready basically. That’s why I like the premade protein shakes so I can grab and go. It’s normal to feel hungry after you work out but it’s what you replace the hunger with that’s important. It’s really cheap to make your own shake with Almond Milk and protein powder and through in some blueberries or strawberries 🍓. Helps you feel full so you don’t eat a pizza. Hey I’ve done it too, no shame in the weigh loss game.Also 45 min to an hour a day of physical activity that makes you sweat is what’s needed. Seriously Toph if you want pointers, you’d have a lot more followers who would be more than happy to give you some. Alll we want Is to see you trying….

Reminds me of that one episode of My 600lb Life where the lady went and exercised for the first time in a gym with a personal trainer, who, mind you, didn’t even work her that hard. She went and had a burrito right after the workout

At that weight, working out isn’t for weight loss, it’s for stamina and mobility. The number of calories burned is negligible when you’re that big.

Is it really called a table back?! Omg dude that’s horrifying. I’ve recently lost 65lbs but thankfully I never had one of those backs. 😂

A lot of this is just diet, she needs to stop with all the sugar, and focus on protein and veggies. And make sure to do strength training exercises in addition to cardio. Hauling her big back to and from a job will build muscle and count as cardio, she should start there.

Thank goodness she was able to procure a family sized lasagna, a tub of sour cream and multiple tubes of 73% lean beef to support her weight loss goals

She will never lose weight the way she eats and drinks sodas and junk food don’t help you lose weight
