misinformation?
i hope this is allowed idk how to use reddit that much lol. but i think it’s super harmful for tophia to spread this misinformation to her 53k followers. she just posts things without doing her own research which is so infuriating when it’s something as serious as this. Yes a black man was lynched, but a white homeless man was also hung as well. not two black men, cory was white. i’m not denying the race issue in mississippi( im from ms it is definitely as bad as people think) but i def think having the right information is definitely important. am i just being picky for this? idk

i didn’t hear about the 3rd one. that’s terrible. on the next slides she posts about trey reed and cory zukatis which is why i mentioned them both. i haven’t even heard about the 3rd one yet. oh goodness, that’s very sad

I think the 3rd one was from a year or so ago. He was some type of driver and hung himself during a his shift. Really sad.

I heard that there was a white guy too, this SHOWS she does not look into anything she reposts. Of course I’m not blaming anyone who genuinely didn’t know either. But this is perfect proof of her not bothering to research anything she reposts, it’s just for her to ‘look good’

I go to Delta State and the misinformation of “broken legs” is so exhausting, the dude’s father died and his gf broke up with him and he has a leg injury that made him lose his scholarship + his social media was all really depressing stuff so not to put my criminology degree to use but…you know exactly where i’m getting at
also if you saw that tiktok video of the guy claiming to be his cousin, he’s a known liar on campus and threatens to put his hands on women and staff

grenada police genuinely suck and try to cover up anything they can. not to put my personal info out there, but i grew up in grenada. everyone knows the police there are really terrible. they’ve covered up sa, racism, etc since forever. it’s super fishy. it’s extremely valid to question this!

I still remember an agent for MI6 (the British equivalent of the CIA) being found dead *inside a padlocked bag*, and the case was still closed by the police as an accidental suicide. I'm with you in not taking that verdict seriously given the circumstances.

I live in MS (Unfortunately. I hate this fucking place.) and stuff like this happens. I hear about it all the time, but if she is gonna talk about something she needs to at least get the info right. I don't think they were even found in the same area. There is a lot of misinformation going around and it doesn't help that cops down here tend to be a bit incompetent.
